I’ve mentioned several times that my favorite girl is Nabiki, followed by Ranma-chan. Ukyo would be in third place. What I like about Ukyo is her toughness combined with a subtle femininity—plus the fact that she has her own restaurant. I admire hardworking women.

The Tendo family visited Okinawa Island. Nabiki quickly realized she could make some extra money by providing "services" to U.S. Navy personnel. She even convinced Ranma to accompany her (she owed him money, which is why he agreed).

For the past couple of years, I've been working on my illustrations using a mixed method. I create a sketch using traditional techniques (the old-fashioned way, with pencil and paper), scan it, and then ink it digitally. However, I find a certain charm in the sketch that is sadly lost when I ink it.

Natsume and Kurumi, original characters from the #Ranma 1/2 OVAs, have incredible designs, but I think they clash with the rest of the characters. Of course, I wouldn't hesitate to dedicate an illustration or two to them in the future. What do you think?
