Så var det himmellegemer. Her bruker jeg personlig en app som heter Stellarium. Den viser en virtuell nattehimmel basert på posisjonen din og klokkeslett. Man trenger bare å rette telefonen mot himmelen og Stellarium vil vise hvilke himmellegemer som er der (inkludert satellitter).

Det første man burde sjekke er appen Flightradar24. Den viser posisjonen til luftfartøy basert på hva de rapporterer inn via ADS-B. Når man åpner appen får man opp et kart som viser luftfartøy i nærheten, slik som i skjermdumpen under.

According to research by Tech Forces of Ukraine, in 2024, 63% of defense enterprises' production capacity went unused. If Ukrainian enterprises had the opportunity to sell this output abroad, they would receive extra funds for R&D and further production scale-

Interessant å se at det ble eksportert rotasjonspumper til De forente arabiske emirater til en verdi i overkant av 450 millioner kroner i april. Er muligens verdt å se nærmere på dette salget da Russland ofte bruker landet som mellomledd for å omgå sanksjoner.

No, Russia has set up its own production in Yelabuga where it produces its own variant of the Sahed 136: the Geran-2. It has been upgraded in several ways compared to the original Shahed's supplied by Iran. archive.is/yEcMe

An early turning point came in November 2022, when Russia signed an agreement with Iran to purchase and produce its Shahed attack drones locally. Russia likely realized that relying on production in Iran would create a bottleneck, so it decided to buy the technology from Tehran and make the weapons itself, said Omar Al-Ghusbi, a senior analyst with C4ADS, a nonprofit organization researching illicit networks worldwide.

“It provides a pretty cheap, mass-produced platform that has extremely long range,” he said. “The Iranians had a weapon system that fit perfectly for what the Russians needed.”

In a recent report on the Shahed drone and its variations, C4ADS estimates Russia paid $1.75 billion for the Shahed technology, equipment, source code and 6,000 drones. This way, Russia was able to manage its own supply chain and expand the scale and frequency of its attacks.

Yes, the rates vary through the day. For example, here are today's rates for Oslo. The variation seen here is modest, there are days with even larger swings.

Og vi burde spesielt rette en finger mot de som kjøper Teslaer. Salget har tatt seg opp igjen og Model Y topper statistikken (her sortert for måneden mars).

Statistikk over nyregistrerte elbiler i Norge for mars 2025. Tesla Model Y topper listen med 1072, med VW ID. BUZZ på andreplass med 431, og Nissan Ariya på tredjeplass med 356.

Another curious finding in Norwegian export statistics: an increase in exports of high-frequency amplifiers to Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan after the start of the full-scale invasion in 2022. Could these exports find their way into Russia through re-exporting?

So, Norway exported 8 CNC machines to the UAE recently, which is one of Russia's main sanctions circumvention hubs. I'd say there's a high likelihood that these machines are now in Russia.

Really low speeds today in front of the Royal Palace in Oslo. Unsurprising given Constitution Day and the large crowd of people, but take a look at the ping and packet loss. I guess zero packet loss means no AQM. Would probably be a good idea to lower those pings, no?
