I hand knit this Roly Poly Pot using leftover wool in purple, blue and pink. The welts are tightly knit to form stripes & when completed, the little pot can stand up on its own. I have many of these around the house, but this one holds qtips on my vanity.

Rowan Big Wool in Aurora Pink was used to knit a bulky hat (it hasn’t been blocked yet - so the hat is still a little wonky). I found a brightly colored patch in pinks and blues that says Lake Tahoe - my favorite place!

#knitting #justknitting TGIF (thank goodness it fits 🤣) I cast on the new Carciofo sweater pattern by @rustichouseknits.bsky.social this week & just gave it a test drive to make sure I could get the collar over my head! Pleased to report I executed a nice Italian Tubular Cast on that fits!

The yoke of my sweater project is on the needles. I’m using some upcycled pumkin colored yarn for the man color & Malabrigo in the colorway Peachy for the contrast color. It’s resting ontop of my dog’s crate along with a succulent that desperately needs to be repotted.

My old sweater is a pumpkin orange cardigan with faux pearl buttons. The Malabrigo Rios yarn I just bought in the colorway Peachy is lying on top of it. The new yarn looks much more pink in this photo - as it does in real life.

#justknitting #knitsky My 1st FO of 2026! Actually, I finished it a while ago & just got around to blocking it this weekend. This is the Easy & Free cowl by Carina Spencer. I used handspun. This will be going to my MIL who’s having a rough time with the cold weather this winter.

Easy & Free cowl knit using self striping handspun wool. The stripes are green, purple, cherry red and cobalt blue. The cowl is plain stockinette and comes to a point kerchief style in the front.
