ok so i guess context i had tiktok for a while and it’s very fun! but i would spend like 6 consecutive hours scrolling that shit on my bad days and feel useless so i deleted it and my Short Video Brain went to youtube shorts and. they’re so bad. it’s like flavourless junk food but i’m TRAPPED

partner got a new computer so i'm getting their hand-me-down, upgrading my 12 yr old PC to a 5 yr old one haha... i'm glad i know JUST enough about computers to swap out all the parts that they needed and fix some of the parts that came loose during shipping... sometimes i'm a smart dog..

my saving grace in a lot of the commission regret is that i didn't take payment for anything i didn't finish, which i know is very bad practice LMAO but i at least had the foresight to know that i Might have a problem doing this. i've learned a lot at least, know how to approach it now...

i think That is one of the biggest struggles i’ve had with commissions is like, i get in my head of needing to deliver a ✨perfect✨ thing and getting in my head that it doesn’t compare to my other work and oh god it’s BAD but they PAID for it and then i lock up and dont draw for 6+ months lol

i know this is a pretty standard experience for people but for the looooongest time, i’ve struggled with acknowledging that like… the stuff i make is good and can be enjoyed. and perfection is a stupid dumb goal that is actually unattainable, because what i make is what i make!!!
