Yankee Bebop @yankeedem.bsky.social · 26/09/2026So the 2nd and 3rd best teams meet in the first round while the 4th best team gets a bye. Then the winner of that series plays Tampa the best team in the AL in the ALDS while the other ALDS division will be without any of the 3 best teams in the league. Way to diminish the regular season. 240
Yankee Bebop @yankeedem.bsky.social · 26/09/2026But the winner will be the third seed while the 93 or 94 win NY Yankees will be the 4th seed? And the two teams with the 2nd and 3rd best records in baseball meet in a 3 game first round playoff series. I love baseball the game but I hate the idiots running it. The worst playoff system of any sport. 282
Yankee Bebop @yankeedem.bsky.social · 05/09/2026And I donated to both of their first campaign. How gullible am I? 001
Yankee Bebop @yankeedem.bsky.social · 03/09/2026Guidry had 16 complete games in 1978, Ford 12 in 1964, Schlittler zero this year. I’m a huge Yankee fan and I love Schlittler but the comparison is unfair. 160

Yankee Bebop @yankeedem.bsky.social · 18/07/2026As a Yankee Grisham has scored from first on doubles 9.5% of the time. MLB average is 44%. Also now Grisham is a minor defensive liability, OAA -2. 000
