This is, alas, one of the huge limitations with recorded hypnosis, it cannot be adapted to the listeners needs. In one-to-one I can build an induction around this, and take reality reports often. Working within the confines of your current experience. However in a file, I just cannot.

People with ADHD can still go into trance. Getting those internal monologues to STFU is hard, but possible. Which is why 7+/-2 , overload and confusion inductions work so well. If those thought processes are given something to do, then they open the doors to the subconscious.

One of the biggest barriers to falling into trance, is the constant checking "Am I in trance yet?" - Each time you check you engage your critical thinking and internal dialogue, which is the enemy of an immersive hypnotic experience. Stop that! Don't worry. Just relax, and enjoy.
