Yoruichi from Bleach in her TYBW outfit, yellow background with lightening coming off of her. Bold text over her hand saying "HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2025" signed, Yakitty. She is grinning and bright eyed.

New Years Resolution: Finish renovating the house and playing games that have been sitting in my library for a while. I don't need to finish them, but gotta give them a chance!

Happy New Year!!! The first 3/4 of 2024 was very hard, but the last three months were better. Finally got a job and a car again! The next few weeks are going to be busy, but I'm going to be optimistic. Looking forward to getting back into drawing more, too!

I lost my voice and am contemplating making cards with standard sayings on them for work lmao. Now I want to pick up ASL again, too. I know basics, but it's such a good and fun language to learn.

The new Kubo fashion illustration just has me thinking of that Captain more as Rukias potential ancestor...the hair bow, the ribbon on the sword, the purple and shape of the eyes...6th Squad Kuchiki connections? Ancestors from hell mayhap? Hmhm~? Probably overthinking!

This year has been...not great for mental or physical health. I got very sick a few times and fell extremely behind on my promises. I finally got a new job and things are starting to look a little brighter, so hoping this place will also allow for a nice change.

I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!

Up-to-date BlueSky Crop Aspect Ratio
Crop Sizes for Bluesky as of 18 Oct 2024

By default, single images are uncropped. If image is too tall (Exceeds the 1:2 aspect ratio) then it will be cropped. Single images that are too tall may be scaled down but aspect ratio is preserved

With two images, both of them share a square aspect ratio of 1:1

For three images, the first image is square (1:1) while the other two are half-squares (2:1)

And for 4 images, all of them are 3:2
