The hoops events are loaded this week with some awesome matchups. And the NFL has some disappointing Thanksgiving games, although I’ll probably be watching anyways

I’m getting lots of UFC interaction on threads. People giving fight suggestions, history, experiences, it’s awesome. Would love to hear from UFCSky

I am officially hooked on the UFC. Been catching my eye for 18 months, and I’ve watched almost every PPV over the last 9-12 months. Now I’m hooked. Learning my history, watching old fights, studying the rankings. I’m all in. (Yea the politics of it are annoying but the sport is incredible)

Low key stoked for this one. We know the Celtics are good. Won it all last year. Are the Cavs as good? They keep winning, by a lot. But how do they fare against the reigning champs on the road?

4. CBB: Baylor @ St John’s THU 7 ET Baylor has recovered after a staggering loss to Gonzaga to open the season. Pitino has St John’s ranked in only his second season. Both teams have stars and ELITE athletes. This will be a highly athletic competitive basketball game in the Bahamas.

3. NFL: Texans @ Cowboys MON 8:15 ET Let’s be honest. The cowboys stink. But this intrastate rivalry is only played every 5 years or so and the Texans are in the playoff picture. The game could be chippy, and Stroud has yet to have his breakout moment on national TV. Could it be in Dallas?

1. NBA: Cavs @ Celtics TUE 7 ET Monumental early season matchup. 2 best teams in the East, and Cavs chasing history. A win here would make them 16-0, the second longest streak to start a season in NBA history, trailing only 24-0 by the 15-16 Warriors. This will be the Cavs biggest test yet.

Brooks & Dunn are incredibly savvy. Re-releasing their music in 2019 and 2024 with collabs from relevant artists at the time.

Reboot II is amazing. Neon Moon with Morgan Wallen is the headliner of course But… Ain’t Nothing Bout You, She Used to Be Mine, and I’ll Never Forgive My Heart are incredible remakes. Megan Moroney’s rendition of Ain’t Nothing Bout You rivals Kacey Musgraves Neon Moon from Reboot.

Netflix not performing well tonight. With NFL games coming up, WWE in January, and more live events, they need to fix it or they won’t make it. Messing up a Jake Paul fight is one thing, but an NFL game would be a whole other problem.

Wisconsin has shot 21 free throws to Arizonas 3. Thats………….lopsided to say the least.

If Wisconsin can knock of Arizona, what a night for Big Ten hoops. Wisky Up 6 halfway through the first half.

What a win for Purdue. I liked Alabama going into it, but their experienced guys really stepped up. And Mackey was electric the entire game.

LENNON 🥶 @yaboylennon.bsky.social · 16/11/2024

Alabama was looking like Alabama again for the first 10 mins of second half and the lead grew to 6, but over the last 90 seconds Purdue just went NUCLEAR. And flipped it to a 7 point lead. That was explosive. Wow.

LENNON 🥶 @yaboylennon.bsky.social · 16/11/2024

I’m not sure Purdue could have played any better in that first half. Braden Smith was everywhere, finding open guys, the bigs played very solid, and Alabam shot 1-9 from 3. Yet Alabama is only down 2 at half. I think Alabama will pull away in the second half and win by 8-12 points.

I’m really in a moral dilemma with this Paul Tyson fight. Like it’s for sure rigged, but do I watch anyways?

As sloppy and unorganized as Bama looks right now, they are playing damn hard. Winning the 50/50 balls, offensive rebounding, diving on the floor.

000

LENNON 🥶 @yaboylennon.bsky.social · 16/11/2024

Alabamas athleticism starting to jump off the screen though. Far different looking team than Purdue.

LENNON 🥶 @yaboylennon.bsky.social · 16/11/2024

Alabama’s freshman do not look ready in this first half against Purdue. Tough first road game for them. Braden Smith is controlling the tempo of this game. 11-6 Purdue with 2 FTs upcoming

Quick wraparound NFL - MVP down to Lamar/Mahomes. It’s Lamar’s unless Chiefs win 15+ games. NFC sucks. CFB - 12 team playoff is electric and creates must watch games each week CBB - most wide open top 10-15 teams in recent memory NBA - Cavs are the most intriguing storyline in the league rn
