This is the cutest thing ever! <3

ya3anii @ya3anii.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

so i have a project where i'm going through all 750 #AO3 bookmarks and removing+readding them with an auto-tagger. i also check for whether i've left kudos and a comment, and leave both if i haven't. it's gonna take a while...

I've had a tumblr since it became a site, took a 10 year hiatus from using it, and came back. It's nice for artists (maybe?) but I feel like for fandom dialogue in general it's a blackhole. Tags being where people put their analysis (or bitchy asides) alone makes it worthy of death.

i regret so much trying to make my porn into people. rookie fucking mistake.

I love how you added a cowbell to jason's outfit! <3

imagine all those customers lusting over jason! it's a nightmare for poor dick...

tumblr is a terrible website for coordinating anything. i know people successfully host fandom events, but what a shit show compared to in the past. i'm old and annoyed.

ya3anii @ya3anii.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

i have to make a major decision in #ttt about bruce and barbara's relationship and i'm having a lot of trouble. the options both could work but couldn't be more different and would lead to wildly different lessons learned.

struggling with the impulse to delete all 8k remaining of this fic and restart the second part this is why i posted the first chapter! so i wouldn't do this to myself

000

ya3anii @ya3anii.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

This Jason definitely self-inserted himself into the Bronte novels he read as a young teen.

000

ya3anii @ya3anii.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

I enjoy playing with the fandom idea of Jason coming back to life in this big body that he barely recognizes and can't control (hormones, or in ABO land pheromones) and being either 1) scared of himself or 2) hating it or 3) both.

000

ya3anii @ya3anii.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Jason is one of those demisexuals who has no idea what he is. His own sexuality isn't something he likes to think about or contemplate, and he doesn't feel a drive to experiment (for multiple reasons). He's spent a lot of his life annoyed at sex-obsessed alphas, and he's slept with fewer than 4 ppl

i finished my trial of it. it did make my proofreading process faster since otherwise i'm manually looking for repeated phrases/words. i'd say the other things are more "nice to know" than actual value-adds. it's in my 'likely buy' bucket rn, just waiting to make sure it isn't a fly-by-night op.

@mandorlas.bsky.social i'm dying at your new fic, i want to pack dick into my pocket after reading just a few paragraphs

110

ya3anii @ya3anii.bsky.social · 13/04/2026

it's fascism. fascists always come for "unpopular" or "gross" themes in art first, then move on from there.

URGH i accidentally used 'omega' in this fic in the last freaking sentence >:( bad writer! bad! it's not here!

Ah, I have finally received what the kids call an "anti" comment. For the sake of our political reality, I hope puriteens grow up. (Also, some nice nonnie decided to read them the riot act. Very kind though not needed; Tim's getting those Wayne men knots whether they like it or not.)

Me: This fic is almost done. Narrator: It was indeed not 'almost done'.

000

ya3anii @ya3anii.bsky.social · 29/03/2026

Honestly, I read the first few paragraphs to see if I could get through it to support the effort. I love seeing people write, share and get into fandom; we all start somewhere. Couldn't get through it, though. I mostly had unforgiving thoughts that I then transferred to my own writing. 😮‍💨

000

ya3anii @ya3anii.bsky.social · 29/03/2026

An acquaintance from a different part of my life shared their first (?) fanfic with me. It's not in a fandom I'm familiar with and it's a character/OC story, so I have no inclination to read it. Gonna have to figure out how to very nicely say 'sorry I can't provide feedback'.
