Tony Legg @xyz1964.bsky.social · 05/10/2026These people have only one idea to grow the economy and make wealthy people wealthier, disaster capitalism, destroy what’s left of the environment and natural world until there is nothing left and they have extracted the last penny in profit 000 0
Tony Legg @xyz1964.bsky.social · 27/09/2026A bonkers electoral system where relatively small changes in vote share produce wildly different results, maybe there is a difficult decision to take there 010 1
Tony Legg @xyz1964.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Think there’s an application for one here, land diversification, charge people to walk your dog in a field and boost the local rural economy. Next up convert your old barn into a rat invested maze and charge people to take their cats 000 0
Tony Legg @xyz1964.bsky.social · 22/09/2026Maybe you have a competent planning authority we don’t in Shropshire 010 1
Tony Legg @xyz1964.bsky.social · 22/09/2026It’s national policy from 31 Oct, all LPAs will be doing this! 000 0
Tony Legg @xyz1964.bsky.social · 20/09/2026He’s keeps playing his war hero card. He strikes me as someone who at least tries to justify his position. I don’t think he’s extreme enough to stand as a Reform candidate, he would be better off in the Tory party although not having gone to Sandhurst may black ball him. 000 0

This really is a wonderful site - a chalk spring, a neutral spring and an acidic spring from the Greensand meet in the central marsh - I can't think of a site of this size with such diversity, and the plants and invertebrates to prove ti. 2218 21

Tony Legg @xyz1964.bsky.social · 13/08/2026More likely they’ve got interest free loans lined up enabling them to continue to fundraise after purchase without increasing the debt. 111 1
Tony Legg @xyz1964.bsky.social · 07/08/2026The decision will be made behind closed doors by officers with no democratic oversight. I don’t see any material planning conditions that they won’t be able to overcome with conditions. The government has removed all democratic oversight and you would be better off campaigning against that 100 1
Tony Legg @xyz1964.bsky.social · 04/08/2026This will not go to committee so this needs to be done before the end of the consultation period 020 2
Tony Legg @xyz1964.bsky.social · 04/08/2026Had a quick look at the docs. It’s looks like the developer are going to challenge that the Woodland Classification W1 (priority habitat) is applicable and get it de-classified. You will need to get an independent qualified ecologist to get evidence to support the W1 classification. 220 2
