Keeping your own emotions in check when they are being poked and prodded at is difficult. Yet, I think refusing to let them control you through it is one of the few tools we have at out disposal. Be gentle. Question your own biases. Refuse to stop being kind.

There is an interest in making us hate each other, based off our sexualities, sexes, ethnicities, nationalities, cultural upbringings, etc. But our hate would be better utilised if aimed towards the people who benefit finiacially from this.

There are many upsetting things online, and whenever people are in a state of grief the frequency seems to increase. Cultural differences and lack of knowledge can explain some of it, but please dont forget: A large amount of this is bots.

I used to never feel jealous towards others but then one day it finally came. You have to remind yourself not to get too weird about it, because it isn't really anyones fault. They can't help that they can eat pizza and (looks at hand) pee

I’ve made progress on my physical condition over the last two years. I can eat and walk and talk most of the time but it’s still bad.

Hm in all honesty it doesn’t feel that different from the rest of the web to me, being a European who reads a small handful of languages. It may be different for people who speak other languages than I do though

Four years ago I woke up at 5 am from distant explosions. I asked my boyfriend if he heard them too, he said he didn’t and I should go back to sleep. I tried to calm myself down, went on the internet, it was silent, no news or explanations.
