Expedition 33 was made thanks to a small internal team and a BIG team of outsourced devs. Most big games, and many small games, are made this way! If you don’t know a ton about outsourcing in game dev, People Make Games has done a phenomenal job covering it youtu.be/bm7KUE1Kwts?...

depressed about the BioWare news because I really love DAO, DAI, and DAV, for what they were. I don’t think there will ever be another series quite like this one… but I hope I see the devs influences wherever they go next. #ThankYouDADevs #BioWare #DragonAge #layoffs

Immediately went back for a third game, fully intending to go with Harding this time around. Somehow, on accident, we’ve ended up with a split save file featuring another Neve Gallus fan club president #dragonageveilguard #nevegallus

I beg for them to release the music that plays in Bellara’s personal scenes. I yearn to listen to the flute. It’s slower than In Entropy’s Grasp and I need it #dragonageveilguard #dragonage #bellaralutare #soundtrack

Okay, I 30% take back my hate on BG3. I’m out of Act 1 and the story is so much more interesting, it makes up for the rest. Still mad about the inconsistency of autosaves and sometimes not being able to cancel the turn-by-turn.

010

kai @xxaegis.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

Why are there so few auto saves in BG3? This sucks

000

kai @xxaegis.bsky.social · 24/11/2024

I really wanted to like BG3, but I’m 10hrs in and I’m already tired of the gameplay. So tedious to the point I’m not even having fun :/ I’m going to try to power through Act 1 😒

I have 50+ hours in Dragon Age: The Veilguard so far. Finished my first play through with almost all the achievements. Definitely some constructive criticisms on the writing, but overall, I still give the game a good 7/10.
