So it's less than half the price for politicians to table at @pridetoronto.bsky.social than it is for independent artists... which writers don't count as, apparently, so we pay 4-5 times as much. Wow. Just wow. #TorontoPride #PinkCapitalism #ChurchStreet #Toronto

Real talk a sec. You know who doesn't belong in #MMRomance? Homophobes, fake allies and misandrists who just want to profit off us, then call us misogynists when we protest. There is no #MM without the M who loves M. #GayBooks

"Oh you write books? That's so cool! I want to read one. Hey, maybe you could do a reading here one lunch hour or after work." Umm... not unless HR grants me some pretty firm leeway around workplace-appropriate content. #indieauthor #spicybooks #horrorauthor

So... now AI has arrived, how many years of functional internet do we realistically think we have left? Panelists, your thoughts?

If haters don't want #Pride "shoved down their throats," they should try closing their mouths.

Is it a queer thing for stories that pit genders against each other to bore the hell out of us or is that just me?

Lgbtq+ folk flock to #horror because we learned at an early age to distrust the mainstream and explore alternatives. I think this is also why I struggle to get into romance stories. #gaybooks #queerbooks

This is an interesting piece and connects to a convo i was having with friends yesterday, about how one of my challenges recently is persuading students that I want *their* thoughts and analysis about things, and that it coming *from them* is the entire point. www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-i...

Ten horror movies i think are underrated: - The Boogeyman - Prey (Netherlands) - Brightburn - Spiral (2019, not the Saw one) - The Monkey - The Wretched - Book of Blood (2009) - The Inhabitant (Chile) - Porno - Halloween Ends (don't @ me) #HorrorMovies #Filmsky #horrorfilm
