A Google Search with the question 'how many days of the week have a snake in them' The AI Overview says 'Two days of the week contain the letters to spell "snake": Tuesday and Wednesday.

Here is how the letters break down:

Sure is interesting that the article declines to mention that her appointment was opposed by the Women and Equalities Committee and the Joint Committee on Human Rights, who both wrote to Bridget Phillipson to object to her appointment. No, the opposition is only from "trans campaigners", apparently.
A screenshot from a BBC News article: "Dr Stephenson was appointed to the role in July and she started earlier this month.

It was greeted with hostility by some trans campaigners, in part because she had donated money to the case of lawyer Allison Bailey, who won part of a tribunal claim that she was discriminated against because of her gender-critical views."

Looking at the apparent ledge you can see below the window in the video, I'm pretty sure it's from the Occidental. If you shot a video from the building's top floor and zoomed in, it looks like you'd get the same angle they have. It also makes sense with the noises in the background.

What if Windows 95 was released 26 years later? A mockup merging Windows 95 and Windows 11's UI and visual styles.
Some concept art merging Windows 95's interface with Microsoft's newer Fluent Design standard. A desktop with a modernised version of Windows 95's setup background is visible, with icons pointing to This PC and Recycle Bin. A taskbar with a 95-style Start button and classic Windows flag is at the bottom, with a selected Welcome window and a clock reading 3:04pm. The only window open on the screen is the Welcome to Windows 11 logo, featuring a 'Did you know...' section telling the user how to open programs, and buttons for What's New, Microsoft Account, Ask Copilot and Close. A modernised version of the old Windows cursor is hovering over the window. In the corner, a build string reads 'Microsoft Windows Code Name "Chicago"', 'For testing purposes only. Build 22950.chicago_sv.250817-1147'.

BREAKING: New endorsement could change the trajectory of NYC mayoral race
A fake CNN image, showing a graveyard with the CNN logo and text overlaid. The topic of the headline is the NYC Democratic primary, with the headline reading 'Epstein Back From Dead, Endorses Cuomo'. The ticker at the bottom is partly cut off, but reads 'controversial financier calls on Mamdani to triply condemn Hamas'. Next to it is text saying 'state of the race'.

In case anyone remains in any doubt about whether the BBC were being sincere in chucking out Gary Lineker over 'impartiality', here's your confirmation that it was actually just about him opposing genocide. An actual newsreader actually broke impartiality on an actual BBC programme and they love it.
A headline from The Times: "BBC bosses back Martine Croxall over 'pregnant people' correction". The subheading beneath reads "Managers are 'intensely relaxed' about the newsreader changing the scripted words to 'pregnant women'".

A quote from yours truly, telling you to "go to your bank at 9am tomorrow and withdraw all your money", attributed to my Bluesky handle. A picture of Warren Buffett looks on ominously in front of a red to black gradient. I do, however, have to stress for legal reasons that the picture is entirely unrelated to the contents of the quote.

bro just one more wave of welfare cuts bro, bro I swear just one more wave of welfare cuts and it'll fix the UK's finances bro These ghouls infesting the labour movement are loathsome in every possible respect.
A screenshot from an article in The Times regarding Keir Starmer's intent to declare an end to globalisation.

"Other developments:

• Jaguar Land Rover is halting shipments of its British-made cars to America for a month from tomorrow while it works out how to mitigate the cost of the 25 per cent import tariff imposed on the industry.
• Ministers could be forced to introduce a second wave of welfare cuts amid fears that the UK’s finances will deteriorate further. The Cabinet Office is also promising a new bonfire of the quangos to make efficiency savings."

I really think this graph tells you everything you need to know about how comprehensively terrible Labour have been in every regard since 2020. The system has gotten stricter and stricter but Labour fully buying and now advocating the scrounger narrative means people think it's more lax than ever
A graph of public opinion polling on the UK benefits system showing data since late 2019, with the general trend since 2020 being that the number of people believing the system is "not strict enough" increases over time and the number thinking the system is "too strict" decreases over time.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaa you can do both Not that Labour will actually try particularly hard to win any political argument with Reform, anyhow. They haven't done it before so why start now
One source rejected the idea that ministers were poised to “rush through” rule changes in response to Musk’s interest.

“We’ll beat Reform by defeating their arguments rather than changing the rules to stop them getting money from Elon Musk,” said a source. “You don’t successfully take on populists by changing the rules in bid to thwart them.”

I love items like this on Wikipedia because by the existence of this alone you can tell the cowman hybrid didn't live to the fourth day (also wow 2008 really was wild)
Wikipedia screenshot: 2 April – An embryo that was a cross between a human and a cow survives a third straight day after being fertilised at Newcastle University. A director for embryonic stem cell laboratories at the Australian Stem Cell Centre says that the "99 per cent human" embryo could improve research within the field of human diseases. The Catholic Church of England and Wales however said that the creation was "monstrous" and that the later destruction of it was unethical.

This won't resolve anything. It'll just mean that, for example LGBTQ+ teens find it harder to meet other people like them and feel just as alone as people did up to the 2000s. And, of course, the Times are invoking Brianna Ghey's name for this, missing out a cause of her death which wasn't WhatsApp
Excerpt from the quoteskeeted article: "It comes after the murder of Brianna Ghey, a teenager killed by two 15-year-olds who watched violent content online. Her mother, Esther Ghey, is campaigning for under-16s to be banned from accessing social media."
