But we dont. Bc the memorials are just warrior culture. Someone is only valuable to the U.S. gov so long as they can kill. But a person who became disabled fighting in some war is NOT typically useful to their mission of projecting an image of lethal strength and "righteous" cause. 4/6

ANSWER: because the U.S. as a culture and an empire doesnt actually care about the human life that *became* a soldier but could have something else. They care about getting YOU to care SPECIFICALLY about the *idea* of a soldier. What's better propaganda than a monument to dead people? 2/6
