maybe its corny but im glad to feel passionate about something again. it doesn't fix everything but it helps me not focus so much on the negative thoughts that can be often paralyzing. it helps push me to want to be better

october is a rly hard month for me. in about a week is the anniversary of my attempt and then about a week after that is my birthday. im trying to be positive this year but its hard to not feel really down

first drawing of october aha

playing with a new brush, honoring my wife #trigun

several drawings of meryl stryfe in various stampede canon and concept outfits
top left: a micro chibi of meryl dancing and singing to herself. this outfit is close to her s1 canon, but her blouse is replaced by a low cut black shirt, her sneakers replaced with brown boots, and her hat is black.
bottom left: a chibi of meryl in her time skip outfit, grinning and holding her camera to her face to snap a photo.
center: a half body drawing of meryl in a black turtleneck, a white baggy off the shoulder sweater, and glasses.
top right: a chibi of meryl in a white peacoat, which cape, and long white boots over black pants. she’s holding a rudimentary chibi gun.
bottom right: meryl in her canon s1 outfit, standing and looking slightly distressed.

not to mention lots of new fans are watching the classics anyway because of CvA? i dont think this should be a requirement regardless. it's all coming off as ppl being competitive over something that literally does not matter

Bee 🌼 @xjellybee.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

refusing to engage in this discourse on twitter but ppl have been bitching about looney tunes "larpers" (because they never saw the classics) and as someone who has loved looney tunes for 30+ years and was also in the fandom 20 years ago, i dont know why anyone even gives a shit about this
