So I learned that while I was in the coma my mom fought the doctors to have them give me my gender hormones because she knew I would want them. She also bought a pride pin and had them put it on my gown and made sure there was a note on the white board so it would be kept every time they changed me.

Today in physical therapy I walked 20 minutes and covered a half mile. It was only 1.6 mph, but considering I couldn't walk and had just gotten out of a coma 5 weeks ago I have to say I feel really proud of myself.

In high school they Swimming team would have to forfeit every diving meet because they had no divers. They found out I knew how to dive and tried to recruit me. I refused to join the team because they all bullied me. It felt so good seeing them have to forfeit every dive section.
