This has been the logic I've been living by more recently. Thus the upsurge of art this past year. When I don't restrict myself to what I believe other people will like or want. I am free to create, and express myself. I still work on comm work and such but I get to draw *more* and.. yeah.

About every idea I like that pops into my head.. has either already been done before. Is too similar to like.. 4 other open species. Or is just "(species/character name) but with (additional trait)" with headcannon lore or some such because the original concept wasn't fleshed out in that direction.

I think Im a bit of an oddball since my canvas will usually start at 6000x5800 and either be grown or shrunk as needs be. but almost never end up with a symmetrical width and height.

I confuse a lot of my closer friends that have seen the kind of games I've enjoyed with this. But mine would be: Dark souls and similar games. Like, if a game can be described as a 'souls like' I prob wont be interested. I can't put a finger on it, but just.. cannot muster the interest in them.

Genuinely I hate when my brain does this to me. But at the same time, a few of my characters have design aspects that *would not exist* without people doing stuff their way, or them doing their own interpretations of stuff. Its stressful as hell, but its also like, one of the best parts of art.

While I still find it annoying when pics aren't tagged at all, I can understand the "why" on that. Since character limits are tiny, and tags take up space. But when people will tag shit with every tag under the sun EXCEPT the ones that would hinder views. That's when it stops being understandable.

tired ramble: The more I use sites with this style of tagging posts, the more I hate it. Like, I know half the point of tagging is to be seen by people who like similar stuff. But the other half of it, being able to curate your feeds, is constantly sidestepped by people. and thats effing annoying.
