the slapstick humor is kind of intense but THIS. THIS I CAN GET BEHIND. yeah your ass is clean bc all your shit is still stuck inside you man. there are other implications with this statement that i cannot say in polite audience

Screenshot of FFXIV dialogue

Kokkol Dankol: There's just one problem: you need the Forum's approval to set foot on the Isle of Haam. Were it up to me, you'd be on the next ship out, but that lot can't wipe their arses unless it's in accordance with procedural motions.
Fourchenault: You may be assured that my backside is immaculate.

the way characters always casually share what would be typically classified information regarding the impending apocalypse is really funny. like yeah it's the 1200th time it's happened but you'd really think they'd be like so do you wanna like sit? need some sugar first?

Art style study with Ysayle🩵 It always surprises me how hard it is to mimick heavily stylized manga designs if you haven't done it in a while(｡・´_｀・｡) Anyway def fave series' from childhood #ffxiv #ysayle

Ysayle from Final Fantasy 14, waist up holding a moogle with a pink ball. Drawn mimicking the style of Magic Knight Rayearth. Lightly shaded with simple bluish/neutral color palette.

also pedant's issue but the way they do small sample testing for aetheric influence on the base warding scale then don't do any real testing on the armored scale. and they dont do any testing on the atomos or try sending a more appropriately-scion-sized familiar through the gate first.

which TBF they do have her mention her thirst for knowledge but it feels like THAT is the footnote for runar, while I think *runar* shouldve been the footnote. but let's be sooo honest here... we all know square enix. theyre like ahhh tomato tomato hetslop >>>

xinning @ 6.4 ... 🐢 @xinrua.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

i've discussed this irl ad nauseum with people but yshtola's character has had the least growth; she was written too "good" to start and the writers lowkey dont know what the fuck to do with her, it seems, aside from doing moe bits and hetslop

100

xinning @ 6.4 ... 🐢 @xinrua.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

as much as i love more yshtola airtime i will say i dont feel very compelled by the impetus for her seeking a means to travel to other reflections being /runar/ of all things. wish they left that as a foot-note and focused more on her eagerness for knowledge generally. it feels like hetslop.
