Ace Combat 8 is absolutely MAGNIFICENT and I strongly, strongly recommend you play it. The story alone is worth the price of admission, though fair warning: you'll probably cry, even if you think you won't.

A few nights back I whipped up a loose, 5-minute attempt in imitation of the incredible dialogue writing in Planescape: Torment. Never before have I written in service of disgust. An aspiring writer aims to please, so writing this went against every fiber of my being... but I don't hate the result

Something that genuinely blows my mind is how 'filing your taxes' is something that invokes dread and paranoia in the average american meanwhile in NZ I receive an SMS yearly like "you're owed $450 in tax refunds, it'll hit your bank acc within 5 working days. ✌️" this doesn't have to be hard???

So, outside of Bluesky (and FA, I guess...) where does the furry community primarily interact these days? I know for a fact I'm out of the loop. but I have no idea how to correct that.

I'm aligned with the game awards this year, my GOTY was Expedition 33. What a magnificent video game that was. My runner-ups are The Alters and Dispatch. Seems like narrative driven games with complex moral aspects were my type this year.

The situation in the USA is genuinely unbelievable right now. Obviously political escalation into violence is something bad for almost everyone, but the victim in this case was a ‘baby hitler’ situation. This motherfucker fought to make life worse for everyone, even those who agreed with him.

Creators like me create and fight to make this world a more accepting and understanding place. To make us your enemies is a foolish choice, one history will not reflect fondly. After all, the last thing I want is for alienated youths to express themselves the only way they can lacking acceptance...

Payment processor censorship declares this as a negative thing, something perverted, immoral and wrong. I couldn't disagree more... after all, what could be more immoral and wrong than letting monetary gain define your moral and ethical standards?

Few things have been more important to me than helping others in the LGBT space to find joy and pride in who they are and learn that they're not wrong for the way they were born. That same lesson changed my life and altered my trajectory into being the person I now am - a better person.

Now Itch.io is hiding and in some cases outright removing any content containing NSFW material. This follows after Steam was pushed into similar censorship only weeks ago. Sileo remains up, just hidden... for now. Americans. Please, sign this petition. action.aclu.org/petition/mas...

This is one of my favorite video game tracks of all time. Playing this shit at the tender age of 6 or 7 might just have influenced my adult musical tastes in a big way. I'm also a huge bass guitar fiend, and this song has some ridiculous bass guitar. I don't think that's a coincidence!
