No comment on how this is an HBO show? I try to imagine how it would be on other platforms. They all have their formula. So when I remember that this is the Game of Thrones channel, it makes more sense.

Yes, I got a new place across town that is closer to the Mountain. It’s a very chill place and the neighborhood is great.

I'll still watch it, though. You never know.

Loved both Series of this show. Knew sooner or later the US market would have to give it a try. I will be surprised if it comes off as good. Something about the British approach to Comedy feels like a more natural fit, but then again I don't follow many US Comedians. deadline.com/2026/08/lol-...

That was pretty exciting! I love that Greyhawk is coming back in a big way in 2027! The Universes Beyond program is probably going to take a lot of flak, but I think this is where things were always going to go. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xd5...

I should say this applies to SDCC as well, but of the two I usually feel GenCon is an easier get.

Low key GenCon FOMO. But also, I never _quite_ feel like I fit in at any Con. That's because my creative outout average is so very low. I'm just an appreciative consumer. I'm the con-audience version of a lookie-loo.

Yes, but do we lose the Nolan level production budget? I have not seen this yet, but I understand the IMAX experience is worth the gripes.

G-Rebels is in Early Access and is verrrry pretty. However, while is says it supports my HOTAS, I haven't been able to get it to work yet. Using a Stadia Controller makes the targeting very squirrely. Its definitely a work in progress. Now if I can just get my Oculus Quest 2 to load it up.

I played G-Rebels (store.steampowered.com/app/2445980/...) when it was Aircar (store.steampowered.com/app/1073390/...) and it really shows they are related. Besides an almost 1:1 aesthetic copy/paste, the bones of the setting remain Blade Runner-esque.

it's a little disappointing the Podcast is hosted through Spotify. A publication like this should have the technical guff to use RSS, so hopefully once the benefits of a Hosted Launch have been reaped a migration could be considered. They are losing out on other Podcast platforms picking it up.

I look away from the Internet to deal with LIFE for one day . . . . HOLY JEEBUS! In my early life as a young bookseller, this magazine was a staple of my consumption. The day I learned it would not continue was dark and forced me to grow in a way I did not want. Welcome back!

All I hear from the FOSS crowd is how much Mozilla is screwing up their flagship product, but they still prefer it over all the alternatives so I guess its time to try. Perhaps a forked version will eventually be better than the main stable branch.
