Self-reflection and goal setting exercises are so tough. Because it forces you to really be honest with yourself. And when you haven't always done that, there's a lot of resistance. Low key a bit scary too lol.

The best streamers in the world are always looking to create good content, and I don't only mean for live, but also content that works well on YouTube. Because if it doesn't, then everything that they're doing on stream lost to one platform. Everything that they do has to be findable and shareable

Getting sick must be the universe telling me to rest. 😂

Convenience is everywhere, but too much isn't good. AI should be a tool to HELP you think, not do your thinking. It should handle routine, repeatable tasks you don't need to learn while you focus on high-level execution and strategic thinking.

Creating content is supposed to be fun! It's more fun you don't have to do the stuff you hate. That's why you gotta delegate as soon as you can. Little by little, you'll eventually feel a huge weight off of your shoulders.

It's better to share the things you love rather than share the things you hate. Both are a stance. But only one puts positivity in the world.

Learning how to buy back my time is the next biggest thing I have to do. That will be the foundation to getting more things done

It's not about how many hours you stream. It's about how good your stream is. If you can't repurpose good content from your VODs, then you're not using your time and energy well.

Coming back here after a while I noticed that in gaming and esports, it feels like this platform is used to promote things more than having discussions. Hmm I wonder how that can be changed.

I'm just learning that BlueSky needs an AI feature to have an option to automatically add ALT text for people who aren't good at describing images or if it adds to posting anxiety for them.

Creativity is a muscle that must be trained. Yes, sometimes inspiration strikes and you do amazing things. But for the most part, it's the action that actually creates anything. Action = Improvement Improvement means the action is less scary to get started in the first place.

Can someone explain this to me? 😂

Peter Lam | Content Coach @xenosking.bsky.social · 24/11/2024
So let's remind ourselves that our worth isn't measured against others but by the progress we make on our own path. Life is pretty hard right now for a lot of people, so I just want to write this to remind myself and you, the reader, that if you've ever felt this way, you're not alone ❤️

One hour of good work is better than zero. If I learned something new, that's a win. One step at a time, I'll eventually get to where I want to be.

Everyone moves at their own pace, and that's such an important concept to remember. After that, I started to appreciate the little things a bit more—the small wins from day to day.

And I think that's the problem with busy people. We're so hyper-focused that we forget to take a step back and smell the flowers we planted. Appreciate the fruits of our labor. But it takes time for it to be noticeable, just like real flowers and fruit.

Analysis paralysis set in, and that made me go nowhere. So I thought enough was enough. I had to unplug and look at reality—my reality. My growth from 2023 to 2024 was actually HUGE. But I couldn't have seen this without reflecting.

It felt like everyone was winning and I was stuck in place. And that's because it's true. The more I compared myself, the heavier life became. I started to doubt myself, trying to change the way I do things, thinking what I'm doing is wrong or isn't enough.

Comparison is the thief of joy—we've all heard it, but living it is another story. Lately, I've been finding myself lost in endless doom scrolling. Every post highlighted someone else's success: growing followers, making money, building a community, having financial freedom with little worries.

Single player gaming might be my saving grace. I'm way too competitive. So when I play multiplayer games, I try hard to the point where it's like another career. With single player games I can get lost and just enjoy myself. ❤️

Making educational content is WAY HARDER than making gaming videos, for me. I had a video that didn't do well at all. I wanted to share my process of tweaking the strategy with every new post or lesson. (posting an image because I don't have enough characters on here lol)

This seems to be the sentiment from A LOT of my creator friends. They just feel like they have to make content on social media instead of being social and engaging in discussions

A great tip for anyone who wants to include alt text is to throw it into chatgpt and ask it to describe the image to you for visually impaired people. It does a really good job!

Yeah I learned to just get to the point and ask how they're doing after. Personally, I genuinely care but it could come off as a conversation crutch if talked about in the beginning Or just derail the whole point of the conversation haha

Another long day of work. All worth it! Sometimes you may not feel like you did a lot. But at the end of a day, it's the impact that matters.

I had a conversation with a friend the other day about the point of platforms like this. Most people use it right, but creators have a different perspective based on the goal to be discovered. Can't fault them. Biggest problem: Streamers posting "I'm Live" instead of having conversations.

Here's another photo with my amazing cosplay friends! Akemikun Cosplays, Stumpy Root, and WhoaChrisWhoa
This image shows five individuals posing for a picture indoors, with a backdrop featuring two monitors displaying the "TWIN ATLAS" logo. Three of the people are cosplayers, dressed as characters from what appears to be a game or show.

Left to Right:
The first person on the left is dressed as a character with short, bright red hair, wearing a white shirt under a red and black jacket with gloves and tall boots.
The second and fourth individuals are not in cosplay and seem to be attendees, wearing casual clothes with jackets and posing with smiles and peace signs.
The third person in cosplay is kneeling with blue hair styled in a short, spiky manner. They have tattoos on their arm and are dressed in a top with cutouts, plaid pants, and boots, embodying a confident and intense look.
The fifth person on the far right has a more elaborate costume with gray, braided hair, wearing a long coat with various patterns and holding a staff-like prop. Their makeup includes face paint that adds to the character's dramatic appearance.
The setting is well-lit with magenta ambient lighting, giving the image a vibrant and thematic feel. The group appears to be at an event or convention, showcasing their passion for cosplay and gaming culture.

Got to watch Arcane on the big screen at the HyperX Arena in Las Vegas with my wife and friends. Thank you Riot Games, AAPI Chamber Foundation, and the City of Las Vegas for hosting this event and inviting us!
The image shows a group of around 16 people posing together on an esports stage. Above them is a large display featuring the words "LEAGUE OF LEGENDS," suggesting that this is an event or venue related to the popular video game. The stage setup includes gaming computers, monitors, and chairs on both sides with bright neon lights and LED accents, creating a modern, competitive gaming atmosphere.

The backdrop is composed of a digital screen with hexagonal patterns, and the sides of the stage have logos and branding that read "TWIN ATLAS" on illuminated panels. The people in the image are diverse in appearance and clothing, some wearing casual outfits such as jeans and t-shirts, while others wear jackets, hoodies, and hats. They are smiling and posing for the camera, indicating a sense of camaraderie and enjoyment. The group is centered in front of the gaming equipment, suggesting they may be part of a team, community, or event attendees.

Hell yeah! Glad to see it. Are you gonna create a starter pack for it once you finished compiling or does it already exist somewhere? (Couldn't find it on your TL after scrolling for a little)
