45. Mega Man: The Wily Wars Definitely not my favorite versions of 1-3 to play, but I absolutely love Wily Tower. It's so fun mixing and matching powers from multiple games and finding the perfect balance between utility and offensive options. Would love more Wily Towers in the future.

44. Rock Man World 5 It's a swell game, and it's cool how it features more original content, but I don't think it's as good as 4. It's not as ambitious or creative in its level design and it suffers from questionable enemy placement and a lot of slowdown. But it's still fun for the most part.

43. Rock Man World 4 Alright now here we go, this game is excellent. Fixes everything from the last three games, controls feel good, music's great, the levels are surprisingly creative, and there's a shop. There's even cutscenes with a lot of effort put into them. This is a hidden gem.

42. Rock Man World 3 It's an improvement over 2 in some ways but there's some pretty cruddy enemy placement. Music sounds a lot better this time at least. If it had better enemy placement this would clearly be better than 2, but as it stands I still think 2 is better.

41. Rock Man World 2 Honestly I think this is way more fun to play than the first game. Only one big problem, the instruments they use for the music in this game are so bad and ear grating. They're great melodies, fan remixes prove that, but it is quite a blemish on an otherwise fun game.

40. Rock Man World There's some cool ideas in here but man it feels like ass to play if you ask me. Though I could see it being the kind of retro game where you get used to the jank and it becomes satisfying. Time will tell I guess.

39. Mega Man Star Force 2: Zerker Didn't resonate with me nearly as much as the first game but I still liked it quite a bit. Was still super fun to play. The story, while not as unique or meaningful for me, was still pretty enjoyable. Crazy post game. Overall another solid game if you ask me.

38. Mega Man 2 One of the finest games on the NES, and clearly one of the most legendary. Love this game, only issue is the turret boss is a bit lame but it goes down fast when you know what to do.

37. Mega Man Zero My first Mega Man game way back in the day. I love this game, how much you gotta scrape by and get good at the game if you don't wanna grind for hours. 100% is truly vile rancid content but playing this game casually or for a challenge run is great. An easy classic in my eyes.

34. Mega Man Star Force: Pegasus Absolutely loved it, the story resonated hard with me as did many of the characters. The battle system is so sick, the dungeons are an improvement over BN, and it might actually be my new favorite Mega Man game period. Zero 3 has held that title for over 20 years.

33. Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo Real cool VN, the way it has you progress the story at points is pretty creative and it was satisfying figuring out how to proceed. I do wish it remained as scary as it was in the first hour but that's a nitpick, I really liked this one.

32. Pokémon: Master Quest Easily my favorite season so far, SO many amazing episodes and even a good handful of solid arcs crammed into this season. Also didn't have the pacing issues of the last season. I watched the entire last 1/3 in one sitting it was genuinely that good.

31. Mega Man When I think of pure classic gaming, MM1 is always the game that comes to mind. It might be hard as nails at first but when you play it as much as I do you'll be breezing through it in no time, it's always a fun short ride with good music and my precious Elec Beam. This game rocks, man.

30. Pokémon Heroes My favorite of the movies (though Lucario is really close) This movie just feels cool, stylish, it's gorgeous aesthetically and musically, and it features my favorite legendary Latias. I looove the character interactions. Oh to be a fly on the wall of the AU where Ash kept Latias.

29. Pokémon: Johto League Champions Prolly the weakest season so far but there were still a lot of episodes I loved, especially in the first third and final third.

28. Pokémon 4Ever While I don't think it's as good as the first three movies, I still love this one a lot, and aesthetically it might just be my favorite of all the movies. It's gorgeous, has a feel good vibe, the music is as great as always, and it's fun seeing Ash and Sam's friendship.

27. Pokémon Adventures: Red, Green, & Blue Arc Peak, the best Kanto story across all media, games, anime, manga, etc. The rivalry between Red and Blue, in any version of these characters, is at it's absolute best here. The way badges and gym leaders are re-contextualized here is amazing, I love it.

SageRPG @xenosage.bsky.social · 16/03/2026

26. Pokémon: Mewtwo Returns A pretty solid special, this isn't quite a movie on the same level as the actual first three movies but I like to consider it an honorary movie. I enjoy the story here and while it's not super amazing, I have a soft spot for it.
