I feel like some of us forget that many people weren't just shutting down cities, masking up, and staying home because of the virus itself. Knowing that Trump and his administration were in charge exacerbated fear and caused people to be unsure even when things were improving. Leadership matters!

I'm already against the death penalty. The more we have to talk about how best to allow the state to kill a human being because they keep "accidentally" torturing people instead, the more confident I am that we could abolish the death penalty. Not to mention our history of wrongful convictions.
