Just emailed the repair shop again to make sure they haven't been doing anything funny to my property during the longer-than-expected wait (and inquire about installments). Anyways, if you'd like to help me finally end this nightmare (before debt gets $3k worse in 5 days), ko-fi.com/ompuco/goal?...

how are any of those Discord alternatives doing? last time people were discussing them earlier this year, no one seemed to agree on which one is definitively it, so i'm unsure

my local Round1 arcades do have all the latest essentials from rhythm to redemption games, but i do wish they had some more retro stuff in there too (something D&B also lacks even more)

The more I ponder what Mary said here, I think it is VERY important for those who don't like this EVEN IF YOU DON'T STREAM and want to send a message to Amazon on where the Twitch community falls in the genAI discussion to go in their settings and turn this off. The metrics are what speaks to them.

tip me @ ko-fi.com/mailcty and you'll have the chance to vote on which of these games i should revisit on stream, because a heated season should perhaps make heated games essential to play again!

Get a chance before the month ends to make me revisit games I’ve had trouble with...

You’ll be able to vote on these games and more if I reach these goal points:

50% = V.I.P. (PS1 & PS2), Mr. Bones, etc.

75% = A Week of Garfield, Rise of Kong in VR, etc.

idk why i felt the need to rank the mainline, Itagaki era Dead or Alive games, but its hard for me to deny that Team Ninja was truly cookin' here early on! all iterations of DOA2 are perfection in my eyes, but 4 did not slouch at all and rest are still very enjoyable in their own ways imo

mailcty's tier list of mainline Dead or Alive games, mainly focused on the Itagaki era as of 5/8/2026
God Tier: DOA2: Hardcore, Dead or Alive 2: Shokai Genteiban, Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate, Dead or Alive 4

Apotris (akouzoukos.com/apotris) and Goodboy Galaxy (www.goodboygalaxy.com) are definitely the two modern essentials of the Game Boy Advance imo — 1st is the best and most modular iteration of Tetris on GBA, 2nd is an excellent original all around deserving of a place alongside the handheld's greats
