It's cute that you think not using Google to look things up yourself is an argument. A former chief negotiator carries zero weight because they're a former chief negotiator and get exactly zero say on the topic. Your whole argument is entirely intellectually dishonest.

The simple primal inbred minds of the average fox hunting, bird shooting, deer torturing, hare coarsing, culture wars nonce couldn't comprehend the idea of normal people liking nature and nice things. This is why they always end up being rapists and child abusers too, they lack empathy.

I think that overstates it's modern importance. Back in the day when radar was worse, weapon ranges were lower, missiles flew less distance then yes, it was key. If it was lost nowadays Sweden still has munitions that could destroy anything in the Baltic effortlessly.

No, we don't. We smell South Koreans being selfish South Koreans. If Europe said to Trump look, we're giving up on South Korea, it's a basket case and a waste of our time I guarantee that Trump would say cool, we'll stop wasting our time there too then.

South Korea's politics aren't complicated - like many Asian states such as Taiwan, they're only out for themselves. They expect to get everything they want from the West, whilst giving absolutely nothing back whatsoever. Japan is the rare exception, about the only honourable Asian state.

Europe needs to stand with Ukraine on this and withdraw all their ambassadors and military support from South Korea. Frankly Europe would do well to agree with China that it won't support South Korea against China, providing China withdraws equivalent support for Russia.

Russia re-thinking it's approach 😂 That's cute. In practice they'll just keep throwing hundreds of thousands of Russian lives at it, to no avail.

Another fringe policy that only benefits billionaires. This generation of elderly, the boomers, are so supremely selfish, that there's no inheritance for the majority of the country anyway. I genuinely don't know anyone that expects any meaningful inheritance nowadays like Boomers themselves got.

Normal businesses: "I'm an ideas guy" - yeah get the fuck out, we want people who actually do useful shit, not just come up with terrible ideas but do no actual work, expecting everyone else to do the hard graft. BBC: "I'm an ideas guy" - YOU'RE HIRED DAVE!

Oh man, someone gave the "ideas guy" an actual job didn't they.

To be honest if they weren't selling ITV to Sky I'd be all for this - just allocate the public TV budget to whichever one of the three of them is doing the best job of pulling in audiences and force them to compete against each other.

The right wing press are probably why this happened, because they're lobbying hard against foxes to justify their illegal hunting to continue.

Xefan @xefan.bsky.social · 5h
If I had to choose between political columnists and foxes to be defined as vermin, it wouldn't be the foxes tbh. You're way worse than any animals.

Poland have also said they'd block historic terms. There's zero chance the UK gets to rejoin on its previous terms when it would require buy-in from 27 member states, including those owned by Russia such as Slovakia and Czechia.
100
Xefan @xefan.bsky.social · 8h
But Macron has also said they wouldn't.
200
Xefan @xefan.bsky.social · 8h
France will be the one that blocks it though but preventing fair terms whilst France itself takes grossly disproportionate farming studies. The UK won't rejoin if the ask is for us to subsidise France when it's big enough to pay it's own way.

South Korea is happy to undermine the West that protects it and gave their lives for it's freedom, but when called out lies, and plays the victim. The West must abandon South Korea as it works against us, holds no value, and costs significant resources better used elsewhere.

Oh cute, you're too dumb to know the difference beween anti-Russia, and anti-Russian. What an idiot.

And what benefit does he obtain by spending all his public time going after Putin? If he was out for his ego he'd do what all the attention seekers do - become pro-Palestinian. The guy is a dick, but you're clearly a wingnut if you can't realise his dislike of Russia is very real.

Someone should tell the Greens that.

Greens, anti-nuclear, anti-solar, pro-racism. They might as well be Reform.

At least I know all the racists and inbreds are asking for Reforms policies, but the Tories? Literally no one wants them, it's just policies for ultra minority fringe vested interests like polluters and fox hunters.
040
Xefan @xefan.bsky.social · 07/10/2026
The biggest problem I have with them right now is I can't tell who is asking for their policies. They're calling remote workers shirkers, well there goes 40% of the vote. They're ditching the environment agency, because polluting our rivers is so popular? It's just an incoherent set of fringe ideas.

Why are people even responding? The correct response to people like that is to completely ignore them, not offer them credibility with a response.

Who carries the burden of any machine malfunctioning and killing someone? A faulty munition detonating early, or failed brakes? The answer to rhetorical AI questions like this always already exist. Some people seem to attribute AI to being more than it is. It's a tool and nothing more.

The same way people like Milei, and Boris Johnson are I guess, and Meloni was, who were also unequivocally both pro-Trump, and anti-Russia.

In this case you don't need a facilitator, you just need the fact Lula has been their leader too many times, is 80 years old, and has overseen most of the last 2 decades of Brazil's stagnation. It is akin to the time the UK had a choice between Boris and Corbyn, when there's no good choices...

Xefan @xefan.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
To be honest there are more promising signs from Jr, so I don't think he'll be as bad as his dad. The biggest disappointment will be he'll destroy the rainforests, but on things like Ukraine he's made more unequivocally pro-Ukraine statements than Lula ever has for example, and wants to leave BRICS.

Andrew Tate is an Islamic migrant child trafficking gang leader and a pedophile. Which naturally is why Tommy Robinson is best friends with him of course.

South Korea is an enemy state to the West and should be treated as such. Leave them to North Korea and China, they're not our problem.
000
Xefan @xefan.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
Ah cute, Russia, a failing state thinks a resurgent Europe is going to be subservient to a declining America 😂 Bitches don't realise that between Putin's invasion of Ukraine, and Trump's attacks on Europe that they've awoken the region that ruled the world for 1500 years.

Xefan @xefan.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
They're definitely making strange interpretations of the law.
010
Xefan @xefan.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
Yes, South Korea is an enemy of the West and needs to start being treated as such. We need to pull all Western forces, equipment, and manufacturing from them.
010
Xefan @xefan.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
Well at this point good fucking riddance. Who cares about Seoul, just don't give them anymore intel on North Korean forces or capabilities. It's a vatnik state that deserves to fall.
010
Xefan @xefan.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
I wouldn't overestimate what's meant by AI in these cases, it's often just a marketing gimmick. In this case it almost certainly just means computer vision being used to way up speed, altitude, and shape to track the drone. It's unlikely to even fire autonomously - just aim.

Xefan @xefan.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
No, Russia has just done what it's always done, stockpiled munitions for a massive attack in the hope that people are like "Oh, Ukraine's fucked now, all is lost" only to find it's just blown it's entire load early with nothing militarily to show for it.

I mean at best you can fool the image recognition algorithm to not recognise you as a target. The problem is your criteria is so broad "enough time, energy, and/or resources" that you've explained the difference between theoretically hackable, and practically hackable.
130
Xefan @xefan.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
Yes, but counterpoint, have any leaders in South America ever been great for the region? Argentina literally goes bankrupt once every decade, and Brazils growth has largely flatlined for 25 years whether run by right or left. I don't think South America's problem is Trump, it's South Americans.
000
Xefan @xefan.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
Yes, but very different ones that have nothing to do with being prone to hacking.
130
Xefan @xefan.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
Was literally never going to happen. The second Britain made it clear they wouldn't support Germany's project, they became a target.
