The new version can handle much larger loads without issues, and the amount of data exchanged between the server and web app has been reduced - so you should notice an improvement in areas with a weaker connection. Let us know if you experience any issues with the new XContest livetracking! 💬

On Sunday we ran thorough testing and simulations, which helped us identify the root cause: a previously undiscovered weak point exposed by record-level traffic. We've heavily updated the protocol as a result.

We've just updated the livetracking engine to a new version with significant changes to both the server and the web app. You may have noticed XContest livetracking was inaccessible on Saturday afternoon - this affected web clients only (the XCTrack app kept working throughout the entire day).

If you're just watching - reload your livetracking window! 🔄

2/3 ➤ But there's a catch: it must be a straight-line distance of 100 km, not the distance scored over 3 turnpoints. In other words, two points more than 100 km apart must be connected within a single flight.

1/3 What is the PURE 100KM CLUB? You may have already noticed a new category on World XContest - so what's the deal, and how does it differ from the Club 100km+? ➤ It's for pilots who have flown their first 100 km - a major milestone in your flying career.
