Hey there everyone! If you’re bored, come join me on twitch while I continue my live build of the Zeta Gundam III! Trying to a blind build and not use the manual to put it together 😁 I’ll be on for awhile, so come on by and chill while I build! twitch.tv/xaxs_backlog

Normally I really enjoy the Tallgeese design but I can’t help but see a dumpy old man with a pudgy tummy and saggy tits asleep in his chair in this pic. #GudamWing #Tallgeese

Judged our #Gundam card game ( #GCG ) today! Overall the event went really well! Seems like everyone had a good time and had a pretty chill atmosphere 😁 I’m looking forward to judging more events in the future!

#Tokorozawa adventure was successful! Managed to go to quite a few different stores and get on the right train back! First, I started at #BicCamera where I found some interesting items!

Paint color set for Cutie Girls Figures from Mr Color

Back to the Future III Delorean model kit

A crap ton of Amiibo! Many I haven’t seen in the states since release

Xax's Backlog @xaxs-backlog.bsky.social · 30/04/2026

Kez isn’t feeling good today, so I’m going on an adventure by myself! Currently bound for #所沢 It doesn’t seem like much, but so far I stopped at the コンビニ and got myself a #スパイシーチキ from Family Mart and got on the right train! A bit nervous going out by myself but excited nonetheless!!

Well, today has had a bit of a rough start. Woke up around 2am to what I thought was the start of a cold sore. Turns out I was right! Best part? I left all my meds back home… on top of that, pharmacies in our area of #Japan are closed on Sunday and we need a pharmacist to get the meds. hurray!!

Xax's Backlog @xaxs-backlog.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

Kez and I had another delicious lunch today too! I had some really tasty #とんかつカレー while Kez had some scrumptious looking pasta! I almost passed on what I ordered for what she had because the picture for hers was just so much more appetizing-looking, but happy I got tonkatsu w/curry instead.

Some other toys we found that I thought were cute! I especially love the Addison puzzle. I thought that it was such a great idea because of how many times that idiot couldn’t figure out how to make a sign stand up in TotK!

Found some really cute #Kirby toys at #ビックカメラ today! Didn’t end up buying any, but I just thought they were so adorable! Mostly took these pics to send to my friend who’s a big Kirby fan.

Kez and I decided to each get a box of Japanese #GCG Phantom Aria. Really happy with our alt arts, especially the Destiny! Can’t wait to get my hands on some English boxes to rip!! #Gundam #Japan #ビックカメラ

Two Japanese boxes of Gundam Card Game - GD04 (Phantom Aria) that Kez and I got from ビックカメラ　today!

Our pulls from the 2 boxes of GD04 - 8 LRs, 2 C+, and 2 LR+

Next up are some pics I took at #ビックカメラ　 Oddly enough, all are #pokemon related. The first was a game. Didn’t end up playing it, but thought it looked interesting! The next up is paper theatre. The, let’s say interesting, things to me were Umbryon’s name (Brakky) and how Eevee is spelled (Eievuie)

Xax's Backlog @xaxs-backlog.bsky.social · 24/04/2026

Didn’t get a chance to take too many pics yesterday, so here are a few that I did manage to take! First off is our dessert from lunch at a pasta place. We got to east some delicious tiramisu! Upon taking the pic, Kez told me that it was a very Japanese thing of me to do lol

Also, I think a couple of letters may have been transposed in the English section… not sure what a Smile Soaker is… 🤔

I may have miscalculated which utensils I needed to eat this before grabbing them and ended up with all of the utensils.

Xax's Backlog @xaxs-backlog.bsky.social · 24/04/2026

いただきます！ Not what I would normally eat for breakfast but I needed to get use the octopus up before it went bad!!

So jealous! Currently out in Japan and won’t be around for any of the launch events!! Thought about picking up some japanese boxes. I did pick up a couple of steel/impact packs but the cards just feel different for some reason. Not sure if it’s just in my head though…

All in all, despite how the day ended, I think we had a pretty good time! Stay tuned for more updates on the Misadventures of Xax and Kez!

We were pretty sure the bathroom light was turned off before we left. Our brains went into panic mode as we thought someone might’ve been in our place and, after checking out funds, thought we had been robbed. Thankfully, it turns out we had miscalculated the amount we brought along with us.

Xax's Backlog @xaxs-backlog.bsky.social · 23/04/2026

Lastly, when we got back to our air bnb, we had a bit of a scare. For some reason I had the key, which I was unaware of, so we thought we couldn’t get in! After we got in, my hat was on the ground near the door and the light to the bathroom was on. We had no clue what my hat was doing there and…

Kez and I had some オムライス with a mushroom demi-glace from Ducky Duck for lunch. After having some amazing food, we stopped over at the Bandai store where I picked up this really cool kit that I had never seen before! Super excited to build this one!! I’ll probably do a livestream before we leave.

Xax's Backlog @xaxs-backlog.bsky.social · 23/04/2026

Today was long and I am tired! Overall, I had a good time though! We started off by going to loft in #SunshineCity where we saw these fantastic dog toys (particularly the real beer) and I picked up this #Gundam blind box. I wasn’t feeling too good because of how warm it was so we went and ate.

Forgot to post this the other night due to the jet lag, but here’s the food Kez and I got from the conbini the first night in #japan I got a spicy dan dan soup and she had omurice ! For a snack, I got this calbee pizza flavored potato chip! All around, everything was really delicious!!

First homemade meal - bell peppers and beef! #japan #bellpeppersandbeef Kez did a fantastic job, especially given that we don’t have a ton of the right utensils to work with lol

On a somewhat related note, on the way to seiyu, we came across some beautiful flowers. For some reason, as I’ve grown older, I’ve become more enamored with flora wherever I go.

First full day in Japan has been a bit slower. We were supposed to get our suitcases delivered but only 1 was. For some reason the other was delayed. Ended up heading to the grocery store and picked up a bunch of stuff for meals/snacks! Looking forward to having some delicious food 😁

I was about to finish up for the night when I remembered I needed to check the sump pump room to change out the towel due to water we’ve had coming in. As I close the door, I spot the little bugger sitting at the edge of the door frame, neatly out of sight.

Xax's Backlog @xaxs-backlog.bsky.social · 19/04/2026

Kez and I are heading to Japan on Monday and I figured I’d give the basement a good cleaning before we leave. One, because it needed it and two, because I was hoping to find the hand. I moved my desk and rug, swept behind/under the tv stand, looked everywhere to no avail.

Xax's Backlog @xaxs-backlog.bsky.social · 19/04/2026

Lo and behold, I was missing the base/thumb for the right hand. I looked all over for it but figured it was lost. Was pretty sure my cat batted it off the desk (bad on my part leaving loose pieces for him to get to) and it had gotten thrown out or vacuumed up at some point

Back in November, I started streaming again and finished building the Tallgeese Fluegel that I had started in 2024. Long story short, I lost a piece during the initial build, lost the ambition after purchasing a new on and finally started building again.

Kez and I just finished the OG MS #Gundam and started watching Zeta. Second episode in and we’re blessed with this image. Kez described him as having a hotdog for a head 🤣

I decided to pick up one of the surprise bundles and was, for lack of better terms, extremely surprised at the value of it! It was the 5 item bundle for $100 and got these kits with it! Definitely a lot of value for the price.

HG kits: Ewac Jegan, zaku II high mobility type, and N Efreet Nacht
MG kit: Polypodball

HG kit: Requiem for Vengeance Zaku II Type LeSean & Zaku II (unidentified type) LeSean
