Years ago I had a nightmare that really shook me and I've never been able to forget it. It would have been horrible regardless, but with a deeper understanding of myself I think there's more than one reason I never forgot it. Realistic dreams can be far worse than the ones that don't make sense.

I'm about 90% sure of my new first name, but I'm having a hard time getting the rest of the way. One of my close friends has a sister whose wife has the same name, and choosing the same name as someone I know feels odd even though the name feels right. At least I'm 99% sure on a new middle name.

I think it started in my late teens and slowly got worse until my mid-20s when it plateaued. I'm not proud of it at all. In fact I'm a bit disappointed in myself. Honestly, though, I think it was part of a self-protection thing. It's one that I don't need anymore and am glad to be rid of.

For a long time I didn't allow myself to engage with much media that was "uncool" for guys to enjoy. I liked a lot of stuff that wasn't particularly popular, but not much that was "girl stuff." MLP was the rare exception, but a lot of guys enjoyed it so that gave me an excuse.

I just went to Micro Center to get a lavalier mic, and for the fun of it I checked out the motherboards since I have a Ryzen 5600G I want to use in an ITX case. Turns out they still sell the Gigabyte A520I AC! Guess I'll be able to replace the 3rd Gen I5 after all.

I can't imagine what my life would be like if I hadn't started watching the show and meeting other fans. I've made great friends and had wonderful experiences because of it. All of that helped me to get to a place where I could find myself. "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" changed my life.

I didn't start watching "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" when it started 16 years ago. I didn't have access to The Hub and didn't know it existed. I started watching in December 2012, and I fell in love with it. I started going to cons in August 2013, and I still go to them now. #mlpfim

I just visited my parents' grave to officially come out to them. Obviously it's not the same as if they were still alive, but it felt good. Well, except for crying because I still miss them so much. Time makes things easier in a lot of ways, but I still have my moments.
