Ghost in the shell series premier today? Okay time to finish this rework of an old sketch. Homage to a couple pages from the original manga. They bold enough to 'go there' later in the new anime? #iykyk #ghostintheshell #motokokusanagi #fanart

Sick of my oc yet? 11 portrait sketches. And a bonus non-canon 11 sketch. Cuz she's fun to draw. #oc #originalcharacter #art

I don't tend to do fan art but what the hell. Hello Major o7 Ghost In The Shell has had a profound impact on my media and design aesthetic for decades, so in Motoko's case I'll make an exception for my disdain for doing fanart. Never drawn her before #ghostintheshell #fanart #drawing #painting #art

Figure Days 13-14. Felt a little frisky, so we exclusively sketched from imagination. No reference. All fire. Aim was to push and pull the forms more than I tend to. Was mostly successful. #figuredrawing #sketch #draw #art

Little different content with this one. Video review of the figure drawing course created by @indgosteel.bsky.social Short version- there were real gains. Still hate making videos, and even worse trying to make them algorithm friendly. #art #figuredrawing #illustration #drawingtutorial

Sent 2025 packing by doing a couple quick studies from Dragotta's East of West, inserting my own character. I really love the silhouettes of his mount design. They're so cool

Yet another 11 render. Was a nice little challenge to develop something of a bg after the fact, considering the composition of the figure drawing didn't take that into consideration. Not a complete success, but works. #art #oc #comics

Did a little rendering on 11 this morning. Her design continues to come together slowly...

Xaqsi @xaqsi.bsky.social · 14/11/2025

The pages on artstation are from last inktober 2024. That's how the idea of11 popped into existence actually haha. Broad story was "kinda there" and once she came about, everything just kinda started flowing out of that. So those aren't canon pages, but more like a proof of concept ;)

Xaqsi @xaqsi.bsky.social · 14/11/2025

Thanks! Yeah next little project on the menu is doing some mini one-shots set in the world of 11's story. Exciting to finally dive into it... But also terrifying haha

#inktober day 17. Haven't done anything completely from imagination in a very long time. Returning to the OC 11 summoning her blade yet again. Still unsure of how I ultimately want to render the weapon effects. We'll get there eventually. #charactgerdesign #art #illustration #sketch

#inktober 2025 Day 2. Rushed this one a bit more than yesterdays entry. Wanted to keep the lines looser and get the thing done quicker. Spent entirely too much time detailing the weapon when I knew it would be essentially unnoticed in the end. Oh well.

Last night's color sketch of some eo58 work. Over-rendered it a bit in some spots, leg got that careless airbrush look to it. But all in all a good sketch session
