xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 06/10/2026the answer to those questions could probably fill a library. but either way, my disgust for her and her actions is tremendously overshadowed by how inspired and happy i'm feeling seeing other fans have fun, and being able to connect with them! and that's what it's all about, babeeeyyy🙂↕️💜💛 010
xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 06/10/2026And yeah I’ll be honest, i wouldn't even feel this petty if it weren't for the blatant attempts to DECEIVE people with the imitation blogs. it's so entitled and disrespectful to do that to fans who are earnestly participating in a community event. what is wrong with you? how *small* are you inside? 110
xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 06/10/2026hand to god my #1 priority here is positivity because i am ENTHRALLED by the responses so far!! we weren't even sure how many people would be interested or participate, given how the fandom's activity has had its highs and lows over the years. this is meaningful! this is so sweet and i love it sm! 110
xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 06/10/2026"why doesn't anyone show up to my birthday party? all i do is bully everyone at my school! :( is that so bad?" cries the big jack horner of the tangled fandom 182
xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Update - I've been reminded about tts-masquerade. They're a legit account on Tumblr and have proactively spoken with Birb in the past re: event coordination! Please support them. C: They are not involved in this impersonation nonsense lol. Thanks all. 041

xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 05/10/2026i'm obsessed w her accusing birb and i of stealing a common event idea, then going reaaaalll quiet as soon as i pulled out proof of us planning this far in advance 😚 020
xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Birb and I have been planning this event for months, and we're not going to let this weird behavior ruin it for us 😂 But we want people to be aware so they're not misled by bad actors. If you're unsure if an account somewhere is run by one of us, please reach out! We're happy to verify. Thank you! 💜 130
xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 05/10/2026The r/Tangled mod is convinced we 'stole' this event idea from her, and is trying to co-op the tag and create blogs to impersonate us. Two people have already confirmed with me directly that her extra tags + the masquerade accounts the mod made in retaliation confused them or made them suspicious. 130
xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Hi, everyone! Please be aware if you are participating in #TangledMasquerade2026 and see any usernames like "TangledMasquerade," "TangledMasquerade2026," or any other variations here or on other social media - please note those accounts are NOT run by us (Birb and me). #Tangled #TangledTheSeries 165

xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 29/09/2026coming back here to add - bc i think for a passerby unfamiliar to anything i'm referring to - this isn't about censoring a hbd post LMFAO. it's about a person who repeatedly goes around harassing people and enforcing xyzphobic rules on a space they commandeered. this is just a small part of it lol. 020
xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 29/09/2026fwiw i'm not peeved, just "huh. wow." there's no point to any of this - i'm just rambling. but the fascination persists. and the bewilderment. huh. wow. 120
xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 29/09/2026but this specific case is like... wow after 20+ years online & avoiding any sort of beef or drama, this person appears and goes on harassment sprees because they don't know where else to put their negative energy. google neuroplasticity, idk. find a better outlet. learn to compartmentalize. 120
xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 29/09/2026i've blocked plenty of randos. like the tts fandom has attracted so many conservative-leaning xians so that's not really new, albeit an ongoing disappointment. 120
xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 29/09/2026i think i've hit this wait-and-see stage when it comes to certain regulars in a fandom. like watching a child throw tantrums on other people's post and never quite understanding why no one wants to play with them. 120
xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 29/09/2026i'd say i'm lurking & laughing as i vaguepost, but it's getting harder to laugh when the person in question behaves so negatively and strangely toward others, in earnest. like it's not even a troll. you are just a bigot, and you can't wrap your mind around maybe You Really Are One bc it's scary. 120
xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 29/09/2026one must truly possess the most fragile type of parasocial attachment to a conservative moron celebrity to ban negative comments on your hbd post to him. he may have voiced your fave character but he's still very much endorsed ignorant/hateful rhetoric lol. at some point you have to. yk. grow up. 120
xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 29/09/2026idk how people use instagram. it's so awful. what do you mean they still refuse to let you search tags by recency again. i hate you algorithms. 140
xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 29/09/2026wHEW ok this helps ty!! It's just fun! And I could use the extra scratch, assuming it works out 🪙👶💧 111
xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 29/09/2026and it's also, like, you know how they say furries can always tell if someone's not really in the community, or at least genuinely share some spirit it, just looking to make a profit? oh god the edibles kicked hard i hope i'm articulating this okay LMAO. does anyone get me. 120
xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 29/09/2026i wonder, would someone want to buy an #adoptable from someone who's otherwise not active in the community - specifically as a buyer? would i be encroaching? does that matter? i feel like this could be one of those subcultures that have its own conventions and norms. the idea fascinates me. 120
xan @xannerz.bsky.social · 29/09/2026i never got into #adoptables, but i'm thinking about selling them because i love randomly sketching out new character designs, but i sadly never do anything with them. so the idea of passing them on to someone who'd breathe more life into them and developing them is growing on me. 130
