iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

i cannot have another TWO three-way toggles for switching between fully rounded, somewhat rounded, and sharp corners on both UI and avatars. what UI could be used instead?

Witchsky appearance settings with 3 three-way toggles already! (the latest is Emoji, with System, Noto, & Twemoji options.) Enable square avatars and Enable square buttons are currently their own checkboxes.

is that this thing

Apple's Best Feature "From Messages" clip on mobile keyboard with the 2fa TOTP code

would be nice for custom handles like that to have a way to visit them, plainly visible in the ui @alexbenzer.com

example showing Witchsky with outlink icon next to the handle that opens the roomy.space site

I am also curious why it's taking 8 seconds to load a webp image in full

firefox devtools open to network tab showing a request to cdn.bsky.app took 8.23 seconds of waiting

this is a wonderful Gmail feature that I feel no other client can claim to be serious until they also have it (hi @thunderbird.net)

"Code requested" (6 digits and a Copy code button are presented) "Based on this email"

no.reply from IKEA: "One-time code to access your IKEA account..." with a "Copy code:"... 6 digits button visible without even needing to click into the email

i like how they place the currently playing Listenbrainz music on sharkey on the banner now. I wonder where teal.fm music statuses should go in Witchsky?

seeing this makes me want to do the unthinkable (I hate it and there's no reasonable way to disable it) Discord just LOVES not respecting my notification settings

"This channel will not be marked as unread for every new message."
with a link to Learn More and a button to Undo (OF COURSE I'M CLICKING UNDO)

can u set the avatar to this

180

yay i can use witchsky keyboard shortcuts now!

3 windows are visible: glide browser open to canary.witchsky.app, Zed editor open to .config/glide/glide.ts (with autocmds created for visiting YouTube or Witchsky), and the terminal that opened zed just off of the screen

finally overrode the default cachyos fish greeter (annoying long/wide fastfetch!)

foot terminal open to "⇰ hello my skibidi kitty", otherwise blank

im using canary.witchsky.app rn with noto color emojis >:3

Use Noto Color Emoji toggle nested between font settings and above 'Hide display names' in Witchsky's appearance settings

just installed Twilight and the ability to move spaces around? move tabs between them? history, downloads, and a viewer for media (Downloads, Documents, & Pictures folders), in a fashion that doesn't look ugly or disjointed, is a welcome difference to current sidebars (altho still no new Bookmarks!)

the column on the right shows Media, Downloads, Boosts, Spaces, and History tabs. Spaces is currently open with 2: one has a folder titled zen basics with "tadc" and "snaptic" DuckDuckGo searches. the other space has "CSS animations to bring your site to life - YouTube" and "Iwakura" tabs.

actually GIVING THE HANDLE MORE SPACE TO BREATH!! like bluesky but actually aligned properly between what's above & below. and no longer coloring the handle; hit the outlink button instead! still click the @ to automatically copy, or triple click handle area and manually copy without the @ sign.

what if pronouns were moved (also tapping the @ will copy handle)

190

does it look better here?

menu with Share link submenu showing dedicated column for chevron icons, taking the advice to the post I'm replying to

100

doesn't feel right now. maybe too crowded?

moved the icons to the left in the share menu (Share link and Open with got new icons too)

220

idk immediately how to improve this.... make the shape go around the handle? so if the handle doesn't link to a site, the whole thing gets copied? but then the pronouns box is also smaller and it feels mismatched...

a copy button has been added next to my handle (which has a link on it) between the pronouns box that has a lot less padding

what if i moved all the icons to the left (but kept the submenu dropdown chevrons)

dropdown menu from share icon on witchsky (with Copy link to post, Share link dropdown, Open with dropdown, Send via chat, and Embed post items)

MADE IT SO THAT WHEN U HAVE A POST IN THE COMPOSER LIKE THIS: then you can hit backspace to discard that empty post slot! coming soon to witchsky.app! (still has the option/alt+enter to make a new post in thread and option/alt+arrows to move between them, also adding shift to move them)

Empty reply post slot in composer (where there's an x button to discard it; placeholder says "Add another post") and when i hit backspace it removes the slot

it can be useful for backdating flushes if u forgot! also u can drag them in the weekly view for quick timing fixes.

Schedule view of Flushbook (material 3 css looking calendar app for flushes), with a vertical github-like activity grid on the side

is this gooooddd

$tooltip in Witchsky composer that says: \ keeps links and handles plain. <...> sets a facet’s boundary. [label](url) makes a masked link.$
