A lot of what people say is 'common sense' is NOT common sense, because that itself is relative to your life and lived experience. Common sense does not exist as a fixed guide that everyone knows, because it changes between cultures, classes, and even depends on the neighborhood you grew up in.

Listing ingredients, not the chemical names OF those ingredients. There are foods in the US that have more of those big scary words that should indeed, not be there, however, by and large, European food isn't that much different other than the words on the label.

US has restrictions where they have to put all the components of an item on the label. Europe does not. That's why u have big scary words that freak people out that usually mean nothing, cause people don't understand chemistry beyond high school chem class that most seemed to sleep thru.

Update: she's doing ok. They still don't know exactly what she's fighting, but they gave her antibiotics overnight and she's being discharged today. We'll know more in a few days. They found a lesion in her liver that either could be nothing or could be part of the problem. Cross ur fingers for us.
