I hope you enjoyed this special episode !

Xacrom @xacrom.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Today is the release day ! 🔥 It's a little weird for me because it has been more than a year since I finished to animate my few shots, it will be like watching this episode for the first time again 😂 I hope you'll enjoy this B(Y)ANG ! bsky.app/profile/rwby...

Actually, to be more precise, Jacques' office can be seen in the epilogue of RWBY : Evermorrow ep9 ! (but we only see a very small fraction, again, but even the corridor was modeled !) Maybe I should model Weiss' bedroom ? 🤭

Xacrom @xacrom.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

Nope, those two were never supposed to be used on DQ ! (Except for a very small glimpse for the opening on the courtyard)

Prototype before the final version ! (watch DQ episode 1 on Yt for the final result !)

When it's not working as expected in the geometry nodes 😱

I didn't post anything for a long time, I'm waiting for the respective episodes ( #RWBYEvermorrow and #RWBYDustQueen) to be released. But I can show my various tests (and failures) for the Grimm explosion before the final one we see in DQ E1😜 #Blender

Time for the traditional bonus for the release of the last #RWBYEvermorrow episode ! ✨ A funny variant of Cardin' song where Ilia didn't prank him yet. This was animated even before we started the production of the episode 😜

Xacrom @xacrom.bsky.social · 01/06/2025

And congrats to an incredible team that made a miracle, I feel so grateful to be part of them as well as I enjoyed 'working' with them all and see their growth ✨ I tried to help as much as I could where I could, I learnt so much with them !

Outch, you remind me that I still need to finish the whole Beacon Campus 😅 Nice enhanced version !

We were asked to respect the faunus ratio 🤭

MAJOR SPOIL about #RWBYDustQueen episode 1 ! <°))))3 We were forced to replace the main cast, a shame !

Seeing and hearing Asuna just one month after I finished modeling Le Cygne in 3D is making me so happy right now ☺️ (and they show the torso reactors we don't even see in the manga !) I waited 20 years for that, I need to animate this now 🥰

Xacrom @xacrom.bsky.social · 14/02/2025

Gundam Le Cygne - from my favorite manga Gundam Ecole du Ciel ! ✨ (One of my very first objectives when I started learning 3D, it's finally done ☺️) #Blender #gooengine #ガンダム #エコール・デュ・シエル

And there's a lot of symbolism around her too that makes her very interesting ! "A terrible thing to have a broken heart" (the Tree) > her emblem is literaly a heart cut in two parts, but we don't see it anymore after V3, like she's hiding her first scar to exhibit the new ones

Almost one year later, I can share a little "behind the scene" of #RWBYEvermorrow 😜 This is how it looks before we add VFX and environment !

Little animation I did for the #Arcane #AnimChallenge of November ✨

050

Xacrom @xacrom.bsky.social · 04/11/2024

A little bonus : one of my test fight animation (and unfinished) that wasn't in the final episode of #RWBYEvermorrow 8 ! We test a lot of things, modify, and sometimes drop when it doesn't feel good for what we want for the final cut (this was made in May !)

0103

Xacrom @xacrom.bsky.social · 02/11/2024

You're the cool one ! And thank you 😊

010

Xacrom @xacrom.bsky.social · 02/11/2024

It's not finished yet, but here's my full vision of Beacon Academy ! I tried to make it as close to what it should be, watching again and again shots from the first 3 volumes and the Justice League movie ! #RWBYEvermorrow

0103

Xacrom @xacrom.bsky.social · 02/11/2024

Here's one of my few shots where I used the oldest version of the rooftop, You can see the difference with the final episode ! (And yes, Ilia is making a superhero landing 🤭) #RWBYEvermorrow

050

Xacrom @xacrom.bsky.social · 02/11/2024

Changes that the public don't really think about is that we may make some big changes when making an episode ! For Ilia/Alyx Rooftop scene, for example, we made 2 models ! First it was the V 1-3 version, but since we went full V4-9 style, I remade it trying to catch the new style ! #RWBYEvermorrow

052

Xacrom @xacrom.bsky.social · 02/11/2024

Then Beacon Corridor for the introduction of the episode ! It has a T-shape, so we can play with angles too. It was done quite quickly by reusing a lot of assets I did a while ago for the Auditorium #RWBYEvermorrow

020

Xacrom @xacrom.bsky.social · 02/11/2024

[And as always, I had a ton of fun trying to reproduce @sanaart.bsky.social wonderfull paintings for Beacon !]

Xacrom @xacrom.bsky.social · 02/11/2024

Time for some behind the scenes for the #RWBYEvermorrow episode 8 ! First, the Beacon Arena where we have Oscar vs Olive and Weiss vs Ilia ! The exterior appearance is from V1-3, while the interior is from the Justice League movie ✨

I modeled the classroom of Beacon Academy for RWBY_Evermorrow as we can see it in the movie Justice League x RWBY : part 1 ! I had a ton of fun making it 😁
