Huh. For the longest time, fascism was one of the top lookups on m-w.com. It's not, at this very moment. :(

Any #android hackers out there? I've got a couple chunks of code that have a static constant I'd just love to flip from false to true, so I can have some better debugging output from apps. It looks like there's a way to intentionally break signature […] [Original post on infosec.exchange]

This makes me so mad. For years, the Internet has been frustrated that there was no way to export notes (annotations) you'd take on eBooks on a B&N #Nook. It's ... right ... there ... in the code. An exportNotesToFile function, that scrapes the notes out of […] [Original post on infosec.exchange]

Ah, yes, the response from the server _was_ well formed, just didn't match the criteria the client wanted, and the client ended up with an empty list. Guess what value I chose for the ProductInfo.DisplayType? Of course, the INSTORE value. 🤦‍♂️ #Nook #hacking

One down (the 10ga 30a breaker circuit), one to go. Also, I discovered the electrician ran four conductor wire to my two 240v outlets, so now I'm tempted to wire up the 50a circuit with a 4 terminal socket (whatever is the 4 terminal version of the L6-30) […] [Original post on infosec.exchange]
A GFCI NEMA 15 outlet on the left installed by my electrician when the house was built, and an L6-30 on the right installed by me. The one on the left is a white plate and white socket, while the right is a black socket in a chrome plate.

@tychotithonus like a burrito
Screenshot of some random tiktok of someone eating a burrito by trying to shove it into their maw sideways. It looks like a struggle as the burrito is likely four to six times wider than the person's mouth.

I realized just now that the whole point of the original way the table mounted on the frame of the radial arm saw was *explicitly* so you could square the whole table to the saw blade. If I put in T track and make my own fence I can micro adjust *that* and […] [Original post on infosec.exchange]

Woo! Reassembled. Now to find where I packed the jointer knives, and to rewire the motor to the switch box on the side.
Jointer reassembled, with the belt aligned correctly.Left side of the top pulley, showing it has clearance, Clarence.Right side also showing clearance.

Did I assemble this backwards? Is the motor on the wrong side compared to the top? I'm pointing where the belt and belt guard go. Let's find out together.
The lower stand of a craftsman 4" jointer that is older than I am. A motor is mounted in on the right hand side, and a large square hole is directly above it.
