I hear that mortals like you can be a little bit weird about sex sometimes, like it's this special thing that's too shameful to talk about but also magic somehow, or whatever? That sounds weird. I don't get it. Anyway, it's not like that for us! For us, sex is just another thing people can do, like eating lunch or going swimming. We do it in public all the time, even, and that's normal here! Seeing someone having sex in public is like... seeing them enjoying a meal or sharing a joke with friends! It's just normal!
You might have noticed that we don't wear a lot of clothes either, unless we need to cover up to be safe at a worksite or do a specific job, or if the weather's really bad and we don't have the natural gifts required to be comfortable in it, like a thick coat of fur or tough scales. You know that Endelochian demons are all of one of three shapes - Bo, Atwix or Quathrigan - and that we can all freely interbreed with each other, as you've seen! What you don't know is how our babies inherit their shape from their fathers. When demons of different kinds mate, the babies almost always inherit their shape from their kennen-father, which is to say, the father who bears them (that's me! [heart emoji]). However, there's a very small chance that they might inherit it from their sire-father instead. Statistically, the chance is a little less than 6%, so it doesn't happen often. For Atwix and Quathrigan kennen-fathers, it's not such a big deal, but for a Bo like me, since we're the smallest of the three kinds, bearing a Quathrigan or an Atwix child means a big, heavy belly and a very long and difficult labour and birth. I guess we'll find out what I'm having at my first scan in another five weeks! I'm so excited!
