When I grabbed the camera with a half roll left, I swear it was loaded with Portra. Spent a great rainy walk capturing evocative images of fallen cherry blossoms. Blanketing a bright blue jeep, or against a neon yellow crossing sign. Color rendering of HP5 is garbage. #photography #EastCoastKin

Today for #worldwaterday I had the extreme privilege to spend it in "the world's aquarium", the Gulf of California, specifically the Isla Espiritu Santo. The drought in this region has been incredible, almost 11 months without any significant rainfall. #lostintheamericas #photography #eastcoastkin

As a small (NY) business owner (oyster bar) I wasn't sure how to conduct ourselves on the blackout. Stay open/Close? We buy from small farms. I thank the people who came, paid cash and supported human scale biz. On this day of shame, it was our privilege to be there for people who needed community.
