New GREENBURST paper is out, led by @wvuphysastro.bsky.social's own Susie Paine! She surveyed across several nearby massive elliptical galaxies and found one new FRB. It lines up with M49, but given the burst's dispersion measure, it's likely from somewhere far beyond. 🔭 arxiv.org/abs/2609.04118
