So sensory overstimulated and stressed from the ER thing today. Sobriety is better for nerve recovery, but I really want a shot of whiskey at the moment. Or to be immersed in a huge long hug and then cuddled. Currently can’t do either; Instead I’m going to meditate & try vagus nerve rest exercises.

They postponed pulmonary tests; I’m being rerouted to ER for an EKG & etc.. My heart is fine. I have rapid heart rate when in a hospital. I forgot to bring pain med & epipen. Hopefully they remember my allergies or understand my limited português. Finished but can’t leave yet. Je suis trés fatigué!

Scrumptious Lunch. Bacon, multigrain bagel, avacado, brown eggs, & cheese. I was out of sliced cheese, so I grated Kerrygold cheddar into the eggs. I piled the extra food on the side. Yum! 😋. Ginger Kambucha. Can’t go to the Dr tomorrow naked, so I did laundry🧺. I’m knackered; nap is calling 😴.

I’m in foodie heaven😋. I found Tiramisu, bacon🥓, & western-style bagels. I love the food in Portugal, but sometimes I get cravings for other things. For breakfast I’m going to make a bagel egg/cheese/bacon sandwich. The Tiramisu was packaged but surprisingly good, my reward for shopping😋.

Haircut time. Once a year I buzz it all off. It’s a symbolic ritual, very freeing, and it lets me hydrate my scalp well. It will grow back before it gets cold. Before pic, 1/4 way through, and an all the way buzzed & cleaned up shot. It took forever; zzzz now.

I use the Deepstash app for 15 minutes/day. It’s bite size chunks of books, like a modern day version of Cliffnotes. It’s based on our obsession with scrolling and swiping. You can read or do audio. You aren’t stuck in one topic or book; I get to dabble based on my various interests. I 💙 it.

🙌🏼 Whoo hoo! Gratitude. Infusion Day; I successfully demonstrated I could do the immunoglobulin infusion myself🎉,so the nurses gave me equipment to use at home. They’re once/month. I will get the Rx for the med later this week. I’m so excited! I have a post treatment headache and need to rest now.

Goofing off w/pics after a walk. I love kilts, all kinds. I do own a traditional kilt. This lightweight sport kilt I wore ages ago in Cali when I competed in a heat wave in the highland games (funny story). Today was the 1st time wearing a kilt to a store in Portugal 👀😁.

🎉Whoo Hoo! I found 🥯 here. Prior I found things called bagels, but they were bagel-ish and very disappointing. I also found Philadelphia creme cheese. Too bad I don’t have a toaster. Back in the US, I often made bagels breakfast sandwiches. Still hunting 🥓. Tired of cereal & protein shakes.
