While Mr. Carruthers was going through a botched execution in Tennessee, Mr. Richard Knight was being executed in Florida. He too was seeking DNA testing. It’s sad when the states refuse to listen to claims of innocence. share.newsbreak.com/ii4nnrrp

May 21, 2026 Mr. Carruthers is scheduled to be executed in Tennessee. There is DNA that doesn’t belong to Mr. Carruthers. No one should be executed when untested evidence exists that could exonerate them.Because the state has gotten it wrong 201 times already.

Keeping communities safe matters but it’s not either or. Over 3,300 people in the U.S. have been exonerated, including about 201 from death row. Wrongful convictions destroy lives and can leave actual criminals free. We need better investigations, fair trials, and safeguards.

The Tragedy of Tommy Lee Walker's Delayed Justice Tommy Lee Walker, a Black man wrongfully convicted in 1954 for the murder of Venice Parker, highlights serious flaws in our criminal justice system. Denied proper legal counsel and facing a hostile community, he was caught in a web of racial bias.

California's death penalty is inhumane, and raciallybiase.Shujaa Graham, an innocent man framed for murder, highlights this injustice. Despite making up 6.5% of the population, over a third of death row inmates are Black. We urge @cagovernor @GavinNewsom to grant clemency to all on death row.

California has the largest death row in the U.S. The death penalty has no place in any society that values fairness, justice, and human rights. We call on @cagovernor @GavinNewsom to #CommuteTheRow #UniversalClemencyNow #ConfrontRacism #deathpenalty
