This is a neat project!! I love how the map for Toronto is pretty much exactly what I imagined, & everyone else marks Bloor as a hard line, with Yonge being the center. Basically… If you get to Yonge & go downhill/south, you’ll eventually get downtown. & that’s true for 86km!

“What do people think downtown is” for Toronto (click the link in the quoted post for more info on the project)

Most people think torontos downtown is 100% south of Bloor, & north of the Gardner highway, & mostly between anywhere west of the don valley, & east of Bathurst (I think?) with the strongest concentration being Yonge Street

It’s all pretty straight forward, it’s right around the highest concentration of transit/highways are & the city is on a grid so it’s easy to figure out. If you’re going downhill/south & east or west towards Yonge you’re headed downtown
