Why do we stretch after sleep? BBC Science Focus writer Luiz Villazon says muscle fluids pool in the tissues during periods of inactivity. Stretching moves those fluids around and allows proper muscle function. Enjoy that morning stretch as a nice way to start your day! #WellnessWednesday
