Our hearts are with the communities affected by these devastating wildfires. SR 291 and SR 155 remain closed due to active wildfire response. Never drive around road closures—conditions can change in minutes. For the latest Eastern WA road closures, follow @east.wsdot.wa.gov. Stay safe.
Smoke billows in the distance. On the left, a line of cars waits to safely evacuate. On the right, a cop car is parked with their emergency lights on and the rest of the roadway remains clear for emergency responders using the lanes to travel westbound towards the fires.

4. The way you drive in heavy rain/flood conditions should look a lot different than how you drive normally. Most importantly: Obey road closure signs and if you can't see the road, DON'T DRIVE THROUGH THE WATER.
A flyer about driving safely in wet weather. In short, the flyer emphasizes obeying detour and closure signs; not driving through water if you can't see the road under the water; slowing down; leaving extra room between cars; avoiding downed powerlines and calling 9 1 1 if you see any. Six inches of water is enough to knock a person down and will stall most vehicles

It's JULY, which means two things: 1) it's officially summertime and 2) the new SR 99 tunnel toll rates are in effect. This is part of a planned rate adjustment schedule adopted in 2018. Revenue supports ongoing maintenance, operations & repayment of construction costs. @goodtogo.wsdot.wa.gov
The image shows a table with weekday and weekend toll rates for specific times from Monday to Friday. The table is divided into three columns: "Monday through Friday," "Good To Go! Pass," and "Pay By Mail." The weekday times are broken down into different time slots with corresponding toll charges for each option. Below the weekday table, there is a section for "Weekend toll rates," listing a flat rate for both "Good To Go! Pass" and "Pay By Mail."

The toll rates for Good to Go! passholder vary between $1.25 and $2.80 depending on the time of day. The toll rates for Pay By Mail vary between $3.25 and $4.80.
