@lkcreations.art you're doing a beautiful job of brightening our day. We have always enjoyed spotting the cat, and are blessed to have your art in our house. The joy of supporting your work has always been ours. 💜🌸🤍
A book titled 'Can you spot the Cat?' is centre frame, its cover showing a hand inked illustration of a tree in the mountains in front of a moon, in the foreground is a samurai and hidden somewhere is a cat; it is flanked to either side by two 'Elves On Strike' postcards, one showing two elves relaxing in a field, the other shows them drifting in space, towing a sign that says 'Private Space' tied to one of their ankles; it is all set next to a split keyboard on a sakura desk mat.

Still this incredible gift from @furlana.bsky.social after many years. It's also our nesting partners and we aren't sure it would ever change; even if it makes telling whose phone is whose confusing at times.
A phone lock screen showing a pair of anthropomorphic dragons from the mid-chest up, they are embracing and smiling with closed eyes.

The photo does not do it justice, but we now have an @lkcreations.art original on our wall and we couldn't be happier. This piece absolutely caught in our heart strings when we first saw it so much so we exclaimed aloud.
An ink painting of a delicate purple tree with a samurai beside it and a cat hidden in it sits in empty space, in an aluminium frame on a wall. The photograph includes some reflection of the room.

Lovely art from @furlana.bsky.social a treat from an ongoing project, with poetry from Charly. I cannot put my shoulder down and push, Nor grab a mic and issue rallying cry, The wide world does not bend to my will. But I can lean close to one, Whispers stories in their ear, And so change my world.
A digital painting of a woman walking through a mountain meadow away from the viewer, she had a plait of white hair with cherry tips, is wearing a flowing white dress that features a transparent panel on her left side to high-light a scrolling vine tattoo that goes from head to foot and is in full bloom, the meadow features flowers in yellow, white, purple, and black, the colours of the non-binary pride flag and as the picture moves away from the woman it becomes less rendered, eventually loosing colour and becoming a rough sketch at the edges.

As we are starting out here, we figured we'd introduce people to #TeryteChronicles anew, and what better way to do that than with some gorgeous art from @furlana.bsky.social that captures so well the sense of scale and of integration that defines contemporary Teryte. Short thread to follow.
An anthropomorphic dragon with large horns walks through a crowded classical city, his bare torso rising above the heads of the other figures in the market. As he walks he is distracted by a woman carrying a bowl on her head.

Returning from some time without posting, there has been a lot of disruption in my life lately. But one thing that has been very consistent has been my muse, and so today of all days, I'd like to share some of the poetry that is so very 'hers', and illustrations from @furlana.bsky.social too.
A portrait of a young woman, with full lips, makeup over her eyes that looks like the night sky, a tattoo of cherry blossoms starting on the side of her head and trailing down her neck, long white hair with cherry tips and purple eyes.A young woman with messy hair sits on a rocking chair that floats in front of a old shifting room with twisting chimney and grandfather clock, oblivious to the surreal she wears a large shirt and long socks reading a book with a gold foil cover.

Well, for this illustrated story we have, arguably a very apt introduction to the Krinaale month, some Sapphic smut, and I think my first piece that has an illustration, another treat from the incredible @furlana.bsky.social, a poem and some prose. www.aksan.dev/writing/reci...
A young woman reclines in the corner of a divan, she is wearing overalls that have been drawn aside to bare one breast and leg, one of her hands holds a book, the other rests on her inner thigh.

Our archive piece today move on from the month that was and hints at the one to come, as we remember who Lucy is you will know for sure soon which daughter she is asking about. www.aksan.dev/writing/snow...
A large, muscular, anthropomorphic dragon looks upwards with closed eyes and a contented expression as within a snowy scene a single flake of snow settles on the end of their snout.

After a month of who he is, this month we see who he was. Today, with a beautiful illustration from @furlana.bsky.social, and in the prose all through the month, I am laying out the framing of so much of Teryte and setting a course for my writing. www.aksan.dev/writing/brotherhood
Two masc anthropomorphic dragons embrace with their foreheads together, the larger figure on the right has horns and scales that seem more cared for and less rough than his companion's.

Another Friday, another archive post, and on a month focused on "who The Thane really is" and the day after my 8th anniversary its hard to think of something more fitting than Embrace, inspired by the art which was an incredible gift from @furlana.bsky.social. www.aksan.dev/writing/embr...
A half body image of two anthropomorphic dragons, a femme blue one and a masc purple and gold one, in a loving embrace.

An archive post, but very on theme for the week with The Thane showing his true colours and interacting with tiny children. This time with glorious art by @furlana.bsky.social, I hope you enjoy Connection. www.aksan.dev/writing/connection
The Thane is partially in frame, a single finger of his huge draconic hand being held by a small child.

With this month's illustrated story, I can also welcome the artist, @furlana.bsky.social, who's just joined the platform, go check her out! Art and story today have distance, the sight of subtle protest, and the observers that discuss it. www.aksan.dev/writing/for-the-lives-that-built-our-nation
An anthropomorphic dragon stands solemnly in profile with his hands behind his back, on his arm a set of ribbons are bound in stripes of red, white, and red.

Posting from the archive, and this week I've had the Parobials on my mind. So I'm going to share the first story to feature one, beautifully illustrated by Furlana, I can't wait until we get designs for the Parobials themselves pinned down. www.aksan.dev/writing/tree-of-myria…
A huge, anthropomorphic dragon curls up like a cat on the grass of a courtyard, subtle smoke plumes coming from their snout, over them blooms a hybrid tree, different boughs of the tree blossoming with different flowers, more trees are seen behind.

We are embarking on a month of (mostly) cuteness in Teryte, and starting off with an adorable artwork from the one and only Furlana (I'm still trying to convince her to join). Today we find out how the castle's oversized house cat got her name. www.aksan.dev/writing/ada
A large, anthropomorphic dragon looks fondly over their shoulder at the lynx climbing up the spines on their back.

So, hi! Late to the party it feels. But I'm finally here. I'm a CompSci PhD student in the UK, I do a lot of writing, mostly dragons, high fantasy stuff at the moment, and I post new stories for that every Monday. Along with illustrations for the first monday of any month.
A large figure, hidden mostly in shadow, wrapped in shadow works by candle light, with an elegant quill in their large clawed hands, writing elegant cursive.
