Thought I'd sit down to a peaceful evening starting off a Trumpeter Chinook that I got in the sale. My first Trumpeter kit. Immediately confused by the painting scheme for the cockpit, not sure if it is supposed to be silver or black. Gave up on it. WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME TRUMPETER??

Apparently it was fanfic “finished by AI”, which sums the whole mess up.

Yep, it is all wrong. I normally wouldn't bother either, but after what the DG said, I had to take a look. It is stilted, glitchy, and lifeless, bad story-telling - actually boring. If you took a still from it, you might say, yeah that is photorealistic. As TV it falls so flat - no life spark.

Sounds good! 🙂👍 Yeah I totally get that, it's total dystopia 🙁 I mis-sold my story a little, it is a post-apocalyptic setting, but a story of small personal hope, hence the "reclaim" and "refuge" chapters 🙂👍

Yeah, I think Bangkok gets hit hard because of all the canals, which seem to fill quite quickly. Our village isn't too bad now, managed to cycle to the 7-Eleven this morning, but the main road is still a foot deep. And it is still raining 😭 Cheers Stef, we're all safe and dry at home right now 👍

Airfix have gone down in my estimations for reasons, but I have found they are good for supplying replacement parts. I think I’ve read posts from others who have received replacements. It might work out 😀🤞
