While the kits are okay enough, the quality suffers. Different plastic than Lego uses, often dull and looking like they are covered in the release agent still. Tolerances are sloppy too, some fits are too loose and others too tight. I broke a technic piece in half just putting a peg into a hole.

Probably my last build of 2025 (unless I hurry!) so I made sure it was a good one. This kit is HUGE, which usually makes assembly problematic, but 27 (!!) screws help hold it's pose in place. #gundam #gunpla

Did something similar with the Metro series of games. They use military grade ammunition as currency, so I hoarded it. Only when I was on the last boss with no normal ammo did I find out you could SHOOT the military grade stuff as well, so the end boss died rather easily. Oops.

On the investment side, it seems like companies are buying in not because they see some benefit, but they dont want to be the only ones not embracing this new tech. Like Ubisoft doesn't even know what they want to do with AI, just that they need to do *something* to say they are 'current'.
