Seeing that Tech Raptor is still a thing in 2024... Absolutely shameful that a gamergate rag has been allowed to persist this long. And no, I don't what to hear about how "its changed!". Anyway, will always take the excuse to post this gem from back in the day.

A TechRaptor writer completely misunderstanding the concept of "death of the author".

Question: Is "death of the author" a stupid idea, or what?

Response from TechRaptor: I don't think "authors" have a chance of dying ou, as there never be an end(as far as I can see) of the written word so long as there are novels, magazines, and the internet. People will always be writing and creating, no matter the form. Authors are here to stay.

And that is Dark Souls 3 done! First time I've finished a proper Souls game, despite a number of attempts to get into them previously. Don't know why it stuck this time but I'm glad it did.
