things are not going well. Imdelltra was great everything but getting rid of SCLC.
As youll see in the images I post, the cancer is in lots of bones. Ribs, both color bones, rt shoulder, rt clavicle, a bunch of vertebrae in the spine from my neck to my chest, a cluster in my thigh, another cluster in my rt upper arm, and 2 new ones in my skull, one very close to my left temple.

My Pancreas is basically back to normal functions though its probably still full of cancer.
but because of that ive been eating everything i can think of that wont spike my glucose too much, of which im only taking 5units an evening right now since im eating everything, except i can only get through about half of what id normally eat since the Imdelltra has taken my sense of taste away.
Very much hoping that will reverse now that im going to stop taking it. I should be able to bring my weight up a bit or at least stabilize from what ive been doing.

The skull where voldemort was living is basically paper thin. which is why when i tap it with my fingertips it sounds like someone tapping a microphone in my head.
Mic check... 1,2... New drug, basically the same ol side effects, except for pancreatitis. thank crap for that!
So, ill probably go back to needing some anti nausea meds along with all the pain meds ive been taking the past few weeks... mostly heavier dose of Co in the Norcos and a new script for long lasting morphine. Morphine 2x a day and norcos as needed.
because of all the pain meds im having to also take a stool softener so things keep moving.

all those pills arent the greatest for my liver, but apparently the new treatment of Lu... Zepzelca is rough on the liver. Thats one of the things they have always kept a close eye on up to this point, so, i aint skeerd...

Felt pretty ok all week my pancreatitis has been ok as long as I eat sensibly. the burning has slightly subsided instead of getting worse as the week went on. not sure how that works, but ill take it.
I've been doing maintenance to the Subie in the meantime...
Replaced/changed oil and oil filter, air filter, in cabin filter, PCV valve, chased down a weird intermittent noise from the rear of the car when I found an exhaust hanger on the muffler not attached and installed a trailer light harness.
I noticed earlier in the day that my ac wasn't working, common issue is the ac clutch locks up or no longer locks up. Mine was no longer locking up. i ordered one and replaced it, it started working right away, like before I turned the ac on... Also the ac compressor that hadn't been used in who knows how long seemed to be full of rocks or bolts, or something that sounded like those things... the clutch was locked all the time. I then weighed the cost of buying the Hazard Fraught tools to replace the ac compressor, drain the system refill the system etc... etc... about 300, and how many times am I really going to use said tools in the future vs taking it to one of the decent mechanics I know in town...
The Mechanic told me to come back Friday.
then I saw a tonneau cover for the rear compartment of my car on marketplace for free. I went and took a nice Wednesday drive and picked it up. On my way back the ac compressor started making different rocks and bolts noises and I felt a little slight drop in car power for a second. then the battery light came on, then the car started telling me it was over heating.
I pulled over and saw that the single serpentine belt had broke from the ac compressor locking up and since the clutch was locked up it didn't release and it burnt the new belt I had put on it a few months ago. I drove it till it wouldn't go anymore as it didn't really seem to be overheating too badly... at some point the battery gave up supplying power to t…

Got thru the week without much incident. feeling ok still, better than last week actually, but that's pancreatitis life I guess... I had an eye exam before one of my radiation treatments this week where they dilated my eyes and sent me on my way... thankfully I had some sun glasses and only about a block to drive to get to the cancer center.
4 more days of radiation treatment this next week along with some chemo talk before I get 5 hours of chemo on my birthday! W000000!!!
3 days straight of chemo along with the radiation will be fun?!
I also did a thing in the backyard... Hoping to catch some birds sitting in the broken window someday...

so, the stent started working immediately and my face, neck and upper body veins all returned to normal size in a few hours. That was quite a relief!
All 3 rounds of chemo went well. generally blah feeling but better because the tumor already had reduced in size enough to bring some relief.
I cant remember at the moment how many rounds of chemo i have to do yet, but I've got 33 rounds of radiation planned at this point. I was told that the first few rounds I'm not going to think they're doing anything, but after the 4th or so round I will start getting tired, then as the pseudo sunburn does its thing my body will start trying to heal it as it gets harder to swallow because my esophagus is going to be burnt enough to have to use some numbing agent before I want to eat. that will im sure make everything more difficult just generally... so im hoping to have at least a few ok weeks before things start really getting shitty.
Generally, I feel lots better in some ways and kind of shittier in others.
partly due to Still having pancreatitis under everything else going on.
On a positive note, I got some clothes that fit again and have some to donate as well...
Really wish I had this past weekend to enjoy outside, but I guess at least I'm alive to enjoy the beautiful day we had here today.
The enjoy part is all due to yall that have shared and donated! I cannot thank you all enough for everything no matter how little you may think its been its been a wonderfully socialist/anarchist/communist thing to do and I Love you for it!

Thursday I had the swallow study that showed my esophagus is being strangled down to about 1/4 the size it should be and being pushed 2+ inches to the left. It's also reduced the main artery that carries blood from my arms, neck, head and brain Back to my heart down to 99 to 100% blocked which means I have superior vena cava syndrome.
Friday my appointment with Dr Bayer was changed to an in person visit thanks to my nurse friend relaying my condition to the DR. For that appointment he had to confirm everything he saw in the swallow study by getting me a CT scan much sooner than I had it scheduled for. So to the ER I went.
There I was sent to get the CT scan to confirm the SVC syndrome. it was over in about 20 min and I was told to wait for the results. The results came in about 45min and I was quickly admitted to the ICU.
My nurse had to add an additional IV line to my other arm to take a bunch of blood for testing. She was really nice and good at her job so that made things a little easier... I had prepared for being admitted and had a bag of clothes, deodorant, efferdent, a book, my bt speaker etc...
About a half hour later I met the ER doc and like 3 other docs that were brought in to figure out the best course of action.

About a half hour later the ER doc came back in the the nurse to explain that they've discovered the cancer has spread to my heart, from a few different avenues wherin it was carefully explained that the artery being nearly 100% blocked and the cancer encroaching the ways it was that " if you are put on the table and cut open for the stent and port u wouldn't make it off the table." The nurse was quietly holding back tears while it was all being explained. It was all very depressing and I basically felt like I should just go home and live happy as long as I could.
About a half hour later Dr shah came it to explain all the same stuff and that he was pretty confident he could do it without any issues. Wishful thinking was the order I guess. So I sat there fairly depressed, giving Facebook comment updates and waiting for some people to come shave me for surgery. They came in, I met more people I cannot remember who told me a bunch of things I was only half listening to. They took me the the surgery theater and prepped me. I was told I'd be under twilight anesthesia... I'd have rather just had a bowl of skunk... The local anesthesia was pretty good though so even though I was basically fully awake it went fine. He was a lot more forceful with installing the port than I thought he'd be, that caused me some concern about dislodging something but I guess it was unwarranted.
I was then wheeled to the ICU where I got my first of 3 rounds of chemo. It seems to have gone well, though I don't feel good, I don't feel bad either, just fucking blah... Feeling shitty about having to ask for help here doesn't seem as shitty as having to ask someone to clean the litter boxes for the 3 little shits I'm currently missing greatly... Not looking forward to that txt I'm going to make in a few min...
Also I'm just a little edgy because I really want to smoke a bowl.

I only wrestled with the lawnmower for about a half hour before I figured out which direction "On" is for the fuel flow. I then mowed the whole lawn. I surprised myself.
Also only took one tank of gas, normally it takes 1.3... its a spring miracle or something!
Only thing I messed up was I didnt stop for lunch... really should have. no reason not to other than I was being pulled along by the miracle mower and was waiting to have to sit down from exhaustion at any moment, but the moment never came.
I had to eat a hand full of raisins while I made myself eat the leftover turkey sandwich from breakfast.
dinner was a turkey taco with brown rice and black beans.
I need to visit the nurses at the cancer center today and hopefully drop off some paperwork The/A doc needs to fill out for my disability. I also need them to send all my pertinent records to them too I believe...
Tomorrow I have a "Swallow Study" to asses how bad the obstruction to my throat is.
