So I just saw #TheFantasticFour: First Steps yesterday and it was a breath of fresh air! It was warm and enthralling and felt like a live action version of The Incredibles in so many ways. Loved the 60's retro futuristic vibe. Loved the fundamentally family centered feel. 9/10! 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙🤍

It's alive! Removing the motherboard revealed that the CPU wasn't seated properly. Reseating it solved everything. Now the system is running #BeOS 4.5.2 with the Gobe Productive 2.0 office suite. I'm delighted.

So I knew of SunPCI cards that add an x86 single board system to various #SPARC boxen via a PCI slot. But I'd never heard of the SparcPlug before! It's basically a #SparcStation 20 that you slap into a full height 5.25" bay of an x86 system. That's awesome! #retrocomputing #sunmicrosystems #unix

Can't say I do. I started with a USR Sportster at 14400, but 56K felt like the future when I finally upgraded. Not to mention my 128K DSL. But of course I had to pick up a real Hayes Accura many years later for proper retro dial-up shenanigans.

A Hayes Accura H08 external modem, Cisco SPA112 ATA and a TP-Link wireless to Ethernet bridge sitting on top of a black micro-ATX desktop computer.

Okay. Fair enough. But their web site points to the Play Store and doesn't mention F-Droid. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Given the choice between manually installing from GitHub or from the Play Store, I'd choose the Play Store any day. And there's no indication of the lack of feature parity between the two options.
