September 25th, 9/25, is officially Dolly Parton Day in California. A tribute to “9 to 5,” but more importantly, to Dolly’s decades of music, generosity and service, including her Imagination Library helping California kids fall in love with reading.

This is who Dolly Parton was. ❤️ “My dad couldn’t read and write, so I wanted to do something to make him feel part of something special.” So she did. Dolly turned her love for her dad into the Imagination Library, putting more than 330 MILLION books into the hands of children.
